Kernal by Andes - Enterprise Knowledge Graph

     Info
    Sold by: Andes
    Deployed on AWS
Kernal deploys into the buyer's AWS account as an ECS Fargate service with encrypted EFS storage. It turns conversations and operating evidence into structured records for MCP and REST agents and operator review.

    Overview

Kernal by Andes is a buyer-deployed operating-memory system for AI-assisted work. The container package installs into the buyer's AWS account through CloudFormation and runs as an ECS Fargate service behind an HTTPS application load balancer, with SQLite data stored on encrypted EFS and service secrets held in AWS Secrets Manager. Kernal turns conversations, sources and operating activity into structured records that agents and operators can inspect and reuse. It provides REST and Streamable HTTP MCP access, an operator dashboard and records for people, organizations, actions, sources, wiki, memories, deals, goals, projects and systems, with support for reviewed compliance workflows. The Marketplace container uses AWS License Manager for contract entitlement checks and fails closed when a required entitlement cannot be verified. Buyers remain responsible for their AWS infrastructure, DNS, certificate, access controls, backups, retained storage and data operations. Kernal is not legal advice, not a compliance certification and not a managed service through this container listing.

    Dimensions summary

You buy Kernal under a contract, and the three options scale by how many recorded systems each deployment can hold. Register covers up to 10 recorded systems in one buyer-controlled deployment. Programme raises that to 40 recorded systems. Estate reaches up to 120 recorded systems. All three run as a single deployment you control, so the tiers differ only by system capacity. Pick the tier that matches the number of systems you plan to record.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A recorded system is a knowledge graph structure that stores entities, relationships, sources, actions, goals, projects, and decisions from your conversations. Each tier caps how many of these systems your deployment can hold: 10 for Register, 40 for Programme, and 120 for Estate.
Each tier includes a fixed cap: 10, 40, or 120 recorded systems in one deployment. The limit does not raise itself. To hold more systems, you move to a tier with a higher cap. The transition is not automatic.
All three run as one buyer-controlled deployment with the same graph, review controls, retrieval, and export model. The only difference is how many recorded systems the deployment can hold. Capacity does not change the features, only the number of systems you can store.

    Vendor refund policy

Contact explore@andes.no  within 30 days of purchase. Andes will approve a software-fee billing adjustment when it confirms, after reasonable support, that Kernal cannot be deployed using the published instructions. Private-offer refunds require seller approval and are processed through AWS Marketplace. Buyer AWS infrastructure, DNS, certificate and other account costs are separate and not refundable by Andes. Buyers remain responsible for export, backup and removal of retained data.

    • Amazon ECS
    Container image

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

    Version release notes

Initial production release. Buyer lifecycle testing covered AWS Marketplace entitlement checkout, HTTPS access, authenticated dashboard and API use, record persistence across task replacement, licence lease reuse, and stack removal. The image is non-root, digest-pinned, and passed strict HIGH/CRITICAL vulnerability scanning. Deterministic keyword and token retrieval are included; general semantic paraphrase retrieval is not claimed complete.

    Additional details

    Usage instructions

Launch the linked CloudFormation template in a supported AWS Region. Provide an ACM certificate ARN in that Region and a DNS hostname covered by the certificate. The product SKU, AWS Marketplace issuer fingerprint, image digest, and Register, Programme, and Estate entitlement keys are already configured. After the stack completes, point the hostname to the ALBDnsName output. Retrieve the generated dashboard token and API key from the Secrets Manager ARNs in the stack outputs. Open the DashboardUrl over HTTPS and enter the dashboard token. The runtime blocks non-health traffic until AWS License Manager verifies a purchased Kernal tier. Deleting the stack retains EFS data and generated secrets by design; export or back up data before intentionally removing retained resources. Email explore@andes.no  for deployment or entitlement support.
