Overview
Transmit Security provides modular, plug-and-play CIAM services for authentication, risk detection and identity verification. We combine developer-friendly design with robust security to inherently improve the user experience. Integrate our cloud-native CIAM services with your existing identity environment such as Amazon Cognito to extend your identity capabilities across all channels and devices: -Multifactor authentication (MFA), social logins (Google, Apple, Facebook and more), and support passwordless authentication, biometric and FIDO standards (passkey/WebAuthn), social login, magic links, OTPs and SSO. -Real-time fraud protection services to protect against bad actors and prevent account takeovers such as session hijacking, device spoofing, malicious bots and phishing -Identity verification using facial scans with liveness detection and government document proofing
The Transmit Security CIAM platform includes real-time services that improve customer experience and help improve registration rates, reduce cart abandonment and accelerate conversion while improving security and protection from account takeover (ATO) fraud.
You can also build on Amazon Cognito by adding any or all of the Transmit Security services listed above. Integrating our phishing-resistant authentication within Cognito apps makes it faster and easier for your customers to open new accounts and log in with fingerprint or facial ID, passkeys or other strong authentication methods.
Modern cyber-identity services, including Detection and Response, Identity Verification, Data Validation and Orchestration, provide pre-built user flows via easy-to-use APIs and SDKs, expediting the time to roll out better-together solutions.
By implementing Transmit Security Detection and Response with Amazon Verified Permissions, you can externalize authorization and monitor risk to achieve risk-based, fine-grained authorization, automating access decisions in real time. Our powerful risk engine analyzes hundreds of signals to determine risk and trust across the full identity lifecycle. If risk appears when a request should otherwise be authorized, the solution conditionally prompts the user to re-authenticate or verify their identity.
Highlights
- Phishing resistant MFA: Using open protocols like OIDC and SAML, the platform provides biometric and FIDO authentication, SSO, one-time passwords (OTPs), magic links, and social login. Easily integrate using migration tools to deploy passwordless and MFA services that reduce overhead, increase assurance and achieve an authentic omnichannel experience.
- Account Protection: Our contextual policy engine continuously assesses trust by analyzing hundreds of risk signals. Respond to threats in real time with applied intelligence powered by machine learning (ML). Build progressive security profiles and monitor device integrity to prevent bot-based attacks and session hijacking.
- Identity Verification: Deploy reliable identity verification for more effective assurance. The platform verification service reduces costs by proofing Identity documents. Seamlessly unify profiles across channels and lines of business to prevent friction, reduce redundancy and maintain trust.

Customer reviews
Good in terms of customization and security, offers flexible deployment, and easy to use
What is our primary use case?
We use Transmit products in our data center and have been an ELA customer.
It offer IAM products for the industry. Technically, their products are very good – especially in terms of customization and security – compared to solutions like SharePoint and Omada. However, as an end customer, pricing is a concern.
How has it helped my organization?
The whole IAM products are strong in terms of technical aspects, implementation, and deployment. The access management features are highly rated and enhance security.Â
From an end customer's perspective, this is very helpful. The main area for improvement is making their pricing more competitive. Their pricing might be higher because of the quality of their product, but it still needs to align better with the market.
What is most valuable?
I like Transmit FlexID, which is more focused on user-based identity.
Transmit interface is flexible and user-friendly, which is important for our workload. Switching from one authentication code to multiple exposure or two-factor authentication (MFA) is seamless. Transmit provides security and addresses sensitive administrative work on both technical ends. Their authentication suite helps us secure our infrastructure. Overall, I'd rate Transmit highly in security.
What needs improvement?
Pricing is an area where Transmit Security could improve. The pricing needs to be more competitive.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using it for three years.Â
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It's very stable. The Android applications are the backbone of this product line, supporting user authentication and two-factor methods.
I would rate the stability a nine out of ten.Â
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It offers good scalability. I would rate the scalability a ten out of ten.Â
We have a significant number of Transmit users in our organization. We use it daily.
How are customer service and support?
The customer service and support are very supportive. They have responsive in-house teams available across different regions.Â
Since we're an ELA customer, we get high-end, 24/7 online support and ticketing. Â
We find them proactive and communicative, especially regarding deployments, patch management, and software development, to avoid service interruptions.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
It is very easy to setup. In terms of technology perspective, platform perspective, and user perspective, it offers good usability.Â
It is easy to deploy, run and manage. The implementation was seamless. It's an independent product, so there aren't dependencies during setup. Authentication-wise, it offers multiple options for customers to choose from, which enhances security.
What about the implementation team?
We deployed it. There is always complexity in the deployment process because it is a security product. But there are no dependencies from Transmit side; it depends entirely on the user's infrastructure. It can be deployed anywhere.Â
It offers a direct deployment. The product itself is very flexible. Deploying the solution is seamless, and it offers an open-ended platform that supports various infrastructure levels and applications.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The product itself is good, and the technical support is strong. However, I'd rate pricing around a seven out of ten, with one being cheap and ten being expensive. There's room for improvement.Â
Considering the security features offered, the pricing makes sense, but could be optimized.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I worked with FlexID, a Transmit product. I evaluated different products like Symantec, Omada, and TrendPoint systems helpful – especially the price comparisons and detailed technical product descriptions.Â
I also looked into Microsoft and other vendors.
What other advice do I have?
I would definitely recommend using this solution. It's a good product with a strong presence in the market. The focus should be on aligning pricing with customer volume and the scale of business they bring in.
Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. It excels in security, offers a seamless authentication process, and handles even complex projects well. Strong technical support, regular updates, and clear communication with clients are additional positives. Â
