Matific offers one pricing option on AWS Marketplace: the Matific standard license. You buy this as a contract, and each license unit covers 100 standard user licenses. Pricing scales in blocks of 100 users, so you add more license units as your user count grows. This is a single flat structure with no separate tiers, instance sizes, or usage-based add-ons to choose between. The number of license units you purchase is the only variable that changes your total cost.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one license unit for billing purposes?
Each license unit covers 100 standard user licenses. A user is one student or teacher account on the platform. To cover 300 users, you buy 3 license units. Your total is driven by the number of 100-user blocks you purchase.
What happens to my cost as my student count grows past a block of 100?
Pricing scales in blocks of 100 users. When your user count passes a 100-user boundary, you add another license unit to cover the extra users. Each added unit covers up to 100 more users. This is a manual step at contract time, not automatic.
Does the license include teacher tools and reporting, or only student access?
The standard license covers user accounts for the platform, which includes student activities plus teacher features like class reporting, work assignment, progress tracking, and curriculum-aligned content. Both students and teachers count as users under the 100-user license blocks.
