Powered by Futurex hardware, VirtuCrypt provides FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and PCI HSM validated cloud hardware security modules for development, Proof of Concept, and UAT for all payments use cases.
Using Futurex's FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and PCI HSM validated technology, VirtuCrypt cloud payment HSMs can perform cryptographic operations required for UAT, Proof of Concept, and development associated with payment applications. This includes all functions available on the Futurex payment HSMs used for various payment application use cases, including P2PE functions (cardholder data decryption, cardholder data translation), PIN and offset generation, online and mobile PIN management, EMV key generation and derivation, mobile payment token issuing, PIN translation and verification, EMV card validation, CVV validation and all related financial key management functions.
Typical users of cloud payment HSMs include banks, credit unions, transaction processors, FinTechs, retailers, and payment application providers.
Cloud payment HSMs enable organizations to unblock the migration of their overall payment processing ecosystem to the AWS cloud, eliminate the up-front capital expense involved with procuring and deploying hardware security modules, and increase their overall payment security posture.

Streamlines and expedites the Proof of Concept and development process
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You subscribe under a contract, and each dimension is priced per host. The core options are non-production HSM instances for development, UAT, and testing. One option covers a development and UAT payment HSM. Two testing options separate by processing speed, one rated at 600 tps and one at 1,000 tps. Two optional access points connect regions, with a standard and a high-speed version, priced separately per region. A build-your-own option lets you request a custom configuration, after which the vendor contacts you. You combine only the hosts and access points your setup needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one host for the two Fin Cloud HSM test options?
Each host is a single financial cloud HSM instance rated at a fixed processing speed. The Test L2 host runs at 600 transactions per second, and the Test L3 host runs at 1,000 transactions per second. You subscribe to one host per instance you need, priced per host.
What do the VAP and High-Speed VAP hosts add to my subscription?
A VirtuCrypt Access Point (VAP) lets one set of cloud HSMs serve multiple regions within a public cloud provider. Both VAP options are optional and priced per region. Choose the standard or high-speed version based on your throughput needs, and add one only where regional connectivity is required.
How does the Build Your Own Cloud HSM option get priced?
This option covers custom configurations. You subscribe under the contract, and then Futurex contacts you to define the specific setup. Pricing follows the custom configuration you agree on, rather than a fixed per-host rate shown for the standard test and UAT dimensions.
