AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on a fixed subscription cost and actual usage of the product. You pay the same amount each billing period for access, plus an additional amount according to how much you consume. The fixed subscription cost is prorated, so you're only charged for the number of days you've been subscribed. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for one deployment size: the t3.medium instance. Billing is usage-based, so charges accrue for each hour the instance runs. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions to select on AWS Marketplace. This solution deploys as a container in your own AWS environment, and you pay AWS directly for any Transfer Family usage it consumes. Because pricing is tied to running hours, your cost scales with how long you keep the instance active rather than by partner count or transfer volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What resources do I get with the t3.medium hourly instance?
You get a t3.medium-sized container running in your own AWS environment. This runs the file transfer orchestration application, which handles partner onboarding, file routing, and workflow management. The software deploys via container to your AWS account, so the instance size defines the compute allocated to the application.
Am I charged when the t3.medium instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue per hour the instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not run up hourly software charges. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees. The software meters running hours only, so idle time you shut down does not add to the hourly charge.
Does the hourly charge include AWS Transfer Family usage, or is that billed separately?
The hourly charge covers the application container. AWS Transfer Family usage the solution consumes is billed by AWS directly and appears on your AWS bill separately. Your data stays in your own environment. So two cost streams apply: the hourly software charge and your direct AWS infrastructure usage.

This delivery option leverages an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) bundled with an AWS CloudFormation template to enable seamless, automated deployment of your solution in the buyer’s AWS account. Upon product launch, the CloudFormation template provisions the EC2 instance using the provided AMI and can optionally configure and deploy additional AWS resources such as VPCs, S3 buckets, IAM roles, security groups, EKS clusters, Load Balancers, and more—based on the architecture defined in the template.
This approach simplifies deployment for customers by offering a one-click installation experience while ensuring that all required infrastructure components are consistently and securely set up in their environment. The template can be customized to prompt users for parameters (e.g., instance size, CIDR blocks, or keys), and it supports region-specific AMI mappings for multi-region compatibility.
Ideal for complex solutions that require a combination of compute and infrastructure provisioning, this delivery method ensures rapid time-to-value while maintaining deployment consistency and best practices.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
