You pay based on usage across two independent dimensions. Data Storage bills by the volume of video content you keep on the platform, measured in units. Network Bandwidth bills by the network traffic your content generates, also measured in units. These charges apply separately, so your total cost reflects both how much you store and how much viewers consume. There are no fixed tiers or upfront commitments. Costs rise or fall with your actual storage and traffic levels each billing period.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A Data Storage unit measures the volume of video content held on the platform. This includes uploaded originals, transcoded files, and related assets you keep stored. The count reflects how much space your library occupies. As you add or remove content, your storage units change accordingly.
Network Bandwidth measures traffic generated when your content moves across the network, mainly during viewer playback and distribution. Stored content that no one streams does not add bandwidth charges. Only actual data transfer counts. Higher viewer activity raises bandwidth usage; idle content sitting in storage does not.
Both charges apply independently on the same invoice. Bandwidth tends to dominate when many viewers stream your content often. Storage tends to dominate for large archives with low viewing rates. Your mix depends on library size versus audience activity. Neither charge caps or offsets the other.
