Overview
Subscription to http://vantage.sh/Â - A cost platform. Vantage gives a set of analysis dashboards and a structured cloud cost and pricing API to help customers track AWS spend. You can invite any number of members from your team to the same Vantage account to collaborate on cloud costs. Vantage is deeply integrated with AWS tags by default, captures 100% of AWS costs and also gives cost forecasts. Vantage is built by a team of former AWS employees.
Upon registration to Vantage, you'll be prompted to create a Cross Account IAM Role with ReadOnly permissions to a variety of AWS Services as well as Cost Explorer to allow Vantage to sync with your AWS account.
Vantage offers subscriptions based upon your total cloud spend. If you have over $20,000 in monthly costs, please contact support@vantage.sh so we can provision a custom tier for you - which you can then subscribe to via a private offer in AWS Marketplace.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Vantage primarily for costing in our AWS environment, and it’s been reliable and efficient. It helps us analyze spend patterns quickly and supports scalable queries without heavy setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vantage helps us analyze AWS costs efficiently and at scale. It’s reliable for querying large billing datasets, and integrates well with our existing workflows. We’d like to see more intuitive cost breakdowns and smoother UI performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage helps us solve the challenge of analyzing complex AWS cost data at scale. By centralizing and accelerating our costing queries, it gives us faster visibility into usage patterns and spending trends. This supports better budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization across our cloud infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Vantage's intuitive interface. Being so intuitive meant that it didn't take long to get up-and-running, and to give me the ability to identify areas where I can help my team reduce costs. It also seems pretty easy to use Terraform to connect Vantage up to the various Cloud providers, which also adds to its ease-of-use and its usefulness. So, ultimately, Vantage makes it easy to build a culture of accountability and cost-awareness across the technical teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm probably a little too new to using Vantage to have found many things about it that I dislike. There does seem to be quite a bit of difference in how full-featured some integrations are compared with others, but I guess that is unavoidable, and the most important integrations seem to be well-supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we introduce a new service, we can quickly see what its cost impact will be, and redesign its implementation (if needed) before it gets to production.

What do you like best about the product?
Vantage offers a remarkably clear and intuitive way to view cloud spending across different providers. Dealing with instance costs can be a real pain, and recently, when I was looking into Tranium pricing, I noticed that AWS seemed to hide it after their deal. However, Vantage still displayed that information. I really appreciate how useful this tool is for cost analytics and for digging deep into where money is being spent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customization options for dashboards could use some improvement. For instance, it would be helpful to have the ability to set custom time ranges and to group metrics together for more advanced reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage has given our team complete visibility into our cloud infrastructure costs across both AWS and GCP. Previously, tracking expenses across various accounts and services was disjointed and took up a lot of time. Now, with Vantage, we can effortlessly monitor our budgets, catch any unexpected cost spikes, and optimize our spending in real time. Honestly, I don't think I could have managed billing on my own, but after a friend introduced me to Vantage, it turned out to be the perfect solution for alerts and everything else I needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Vantage helped me understand where money is being spent, optimize costs, and provided valuable information. It has been very easy to integrate with a click of a button. I check it every other day. The support is reaching out to see if we need any help and understand our use.

I wasn't a fan of receiving weekly reports, since I'm only interested in my monthly spending.
