*When using the Matrix Routing API, the number of routes calculated in each request = number of origins x number of destination. For example, when using a 25 matrix size of 300 origins by 100 destinations, the total number of routes calculated is 30,000 (300 x 100).

Amazon Location Service Free Tier
You can evaluate Amazon Location Service using the free trial during your first three months of usage. During that time, you will not be billed for monthly usage to the levels defined for listed APIs in the table below. If your usage exceeds the free trial levels or includes Advanced, Premium or Stored features, you will be billed for the additional usage according to paid tier rates.
Starting July 15, 2025, new AWS customers will receive up to $200 in AWS Free Tier credits, which can be applied towards eligible AWS services, including Amazon Location Service. At account sign-up, you can choose between a free plan and a paid plan. The free plan will be available for 6 months after account creation. If you upgrade to a paid plan, any remaining Free Tier credit balance will automatically apply to your AWS bills. All Free Tier credits must be used within 12 months of your account creation date.
