AWS for the European Health Data Space (EHDS)

Build secure and scalable infrastructure for healthcare

Healthcare systems face significant challenges including limited interoperability of health data, fragmented systems, and the need to enable citizen control over personal health data. To address these challenges, the EHDS will create common standards and practices to enable around 449 million EU citizens to better access, control, and share their electronic personal health data for research, innovation, policy-making, and regulatory activities in the European Union (EU). Realizing this vision requires combining thoughtful policy frameworks with cutting-edge technologies, to ensure security, transparency, and required data governance. Using Cloud for EHDS implementation

The advent of cloud technology, coupled with advances in fields like epidemiology, genomics, and data analytics, has led to transformational change in how we use data in health.
