Overview

Data connectivity, storage, analytics and alerting are the foundational elements of predictive maintenance. However, companies have historically needed skilled technicians and data scientists to install the necessary sensors and infrastructure, and create a complex solution from scratch.

Amazon Monitron gateway device securely transfers data to AWS, and the service automatically analyzes your data for abnormal machine conditions using machine learning. You can start monitoring equipment health in minutes through the Amazon Monitron mobile and web apps, and enable predictive maintenance with the same technology used to monitor equipment in Amazon Fulfillment Centers.

End-to-end system of wireless sensors and gateways

Amazon Monitron’s wireless sensors can easily attach to your equipment with adhesive, without the need for expensive and cumbersome cabling. These low-cost sensors (including Ex-rated sensors) are purpose-built to capture vibration and temperature data in order to monitor the condition of your rotating equipment. Amazon Monitron also includes Wi-Fi and ethernet gateways to transfer the sensor data to AWS. Amazon Monitron Sensors and Gateways are pre-configured to work with the Amazon Monitron service.
