Amazon EVS features

Run VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) directly within your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC)

Simplified migration experience

Move to the cloud with guided workflows in the AWS console or through the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) to provision and configure your VCF environments. Rapidly add, remove, or modify Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) bare-metal instances in vSphere clusters and use VMware’s vMotion and vSphereHA capabilities just as you would in an on-premises environment.

The image displays a review and create page with steps for specifying Amazon EVS requirements, host details, and network connectivity. Buttons labeled 'Create environment' and 'Create host' are visible. The sidebar shows a step-by-step guide to environment setup, starting with validating Amazon EVS requirements.

Control over your virtualization stack on AWS

With full administrative access to ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and SDDC manager, you can build your virtualization stack on AWS while maintaining complete control over network, compute, and storage configuration.

Customer-managed and partner-managed options

Amazon EVS offers you the choice to self-manage or leverage the AWS Partner Network for managing and operating your VCF environment. Work with the broadest community of partners including systems integrators who specialize in AWS services along with ISVs who adapt their technology to work on AWS.
