Amazon EKS Anywhere is available as open source software that you can run on hardware in your data center or edge environment. You can purchase Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscriptions to receive support for your Amazon EKS clusters and for access to Amazon EKS Anywhere Curated Packages and extended support for Kubernetes versions. You can only receive support for Amazon EKS Anywhere clusters that are licensed under an active Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscription. Amazon EKS Anywhere Curated Packages are software add-ons that extend the core functionalities of Amazon EKS Anywhere with capabilities such as load balancing, observability, and auto-scaling. AWS Enterprise Support or AWS Enterprise On-Ramp Support Plan is a prerequisite for purchasing Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscriptions.

You can purchase Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscriptions with the Amazon EKS console, API, or AWS CLI. When you purchase a subscription, you can choose a 1-year term or a 3-year term, and you are billed monthly throughout the term. You can configure your subscription to automatically renew at the end of the term, and you can cancel your subscription within the first 7 days of purchase at no charge. Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscriptions are available for a 1-year term at $24,000 per cluster or for a 3-year term at $18,000 per cluster per year. For 1-year term subscriptions, you are billed $2,000 monthly per cluster. For 3-year term subscriptions, you are billed $1,500 monthly per cluster. The per cluster pricing is flat and does not change based on cluster size. You can include one or many Amazon EKS Anywhere cluster licenses in a single Amazon EKS Anywhere Enterprise Subscription purchase.
