Empowering European Innovation: Partner Solutions for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud

By: Max Peterson, Vice President, AWS Sovereign Cloud

As we approach the launch of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, a new independent cloud for Europe, we’re thrilled to see the continued growth of our partner ecosystem. The AWS European Sovereign Cloud will be located and operated within the European Union (EU) and provide customers with the same security, availability, and performance they expect from AWS, with additional features specific to evolving EU regulations and sovereignty requirements.

Today, we’re excited to showcase an expanded portfolio of partner solutions being developed for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. These new offerings complement the robust set of solutions [announced last November] from industry leaders such as Adobe, Cisco, Dedalus, Esri, Genesys, GitLab, Mendix, Pega, Trend Micro, and Wiz. Together, these partnerships are creating a comprehensive ecosystem that will enable European organizations to innovate with confidence.

The growing range of partner solutions demonstrates the strong momentum in Europe and commitment to support the region’s evolving sovereignty needs. From data analytics and security to industry-specific applications, our APN partners are working diligently to ensure that customers will have access to a rich selection of tools and services designed to operate in compliance with the sovereignty requirements in the EU. These partner solutions will inherit the robust security controls and operational independence of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure while adding their own layer of sovereignty-specific features.

Let’s explore the expanding categories of solutions and some of the innovative offerings being developed:
