Key insights from the competition

The 120+ submissions revealed clear patterns in generative AI investments, with two industries leading the way:

  • Healthcare & Life Sciences: Generated the highest volume of submissions, with solutions for claims processing, AI-assisted regulatory compliance, clinic operations, and integrated patient data management.
  • Financial Services: Followed closely with innovations in insurance underwriting, claims processing, data-driven investment analysis, and fraud detection.

Cross-industry trends highlighted Partners leveraging Amazon Nova’s multi-modal capabilities:

  • Media Understanding: Partners used Nova’s multi-modal capabilities (Lite, Pro, Premier) for media archive search, video highlights, and content moderation, enabling semantic tagging beyond simple scene detection. “Amazon Nova accelerated our ability to generate real-time, personalized content for sports fans by unlocking next-gen multi-modal tagging at scale,” reports Rog Sherwood, TMEGS Practice Director at Presidio.
  • Marketing Innovation: Nova’s creative models (Canvas and Reel) streamlined campaign creation and management through automated image enhancement, and video content generation.

Notable specialized Partner solutions included:

  • HCLTech’s EV-Assist – helps electric vehicle drivers locate charging stations.
  • Cloud 303’s solution for game development – leverages Nova Sonic to create personalized character personas that respond with varying tone of voice based on in-game context.
  • SoftStackers’ sports application – provides real-time commentary for boxing matches using Nova Premier.
  • Teleperformance’s voice-enabled customer service solution – leverages Nova Sonic to take customer voice input and call an MCP server that enables web browser actuation. This enables the AI agent to respond with a realistic sounding voice while helping the customer troubleshoot web-based forms.
