AWS App Studio pricing

Overview

AWS App Studio is a generative AI–powered service that enable users build secure applications that solve business problems in minutes. It is free to build with App Studio, and you only pay for what you use, saving up to 80% compared to similar offerings.

There are two pricing dimensions based on how you use the service.

Builder free

You can access the App Studio visual building environment to create, test, and manage apps for free.

Published applications $0.25/user hour

You will be charged $0.0625/15 minutes based on your consumption of the published apps.
Free trial: We offer a 60-day free trial or 250 free user hours.

Note: App Studio pricing does not cover the charges for services connected to an App Studio application that are provisioned in your AWS account, such as data managed in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) or Amazon Aurora, or services invoked by an App Studio action step, such as AWS Lambda.

Pricing examples

An insurance company plans to start using App Studio in the next three months to streamline operations. They will create 1 application to summarize claims entries and statuses. After the application is published, 3 claims operation managers will use the application for 2 hours a day for 12 days a month.

A retail company plans to start using App Studio in the next three months to quickly improve product roadmap decisions. They will create 2 applications—application A will summarize customer feedback, and application B will capture market insights. After publishing these 2 applications, 5 product managers will use application A for 1 hour a day and application B for 2 hours a day—both for 10 days a month.

A manufacturing company plans to start using App Studio in the next 4 months to digitize inspections and audits. They will create 2 applications—application A will be used for on-site inspection records, and application B will be used for quality and safety audits.

After publishing these 2 applications, 2 quality managers will use application A for 40 minutes per day (3 * 15-minute sessions) and application B for 2 hours 10 minutes per day (9 * 15-minute sessions)—both for 15 days a month.
