Best IDE for Development Board
What do you like best about the product?
For beginners it is the best IDE, as you can do everything by GUI, you don't need to know the micro details concerning every microcontroller/microprocessor, which is used in the development board. You can just add the board and download libraries and you can code and upload it in. You also don't need special hardware and be concerned about the baud rate and even use a serial monitor and plotter to check your values in real-time. AVRdude is nicely incorporated into the GUI platform. Extensive community support and available on all platforms for free are some great benefits.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can dark mode and also autocomplete feature in the IDE, which will help a lot also sometimes it doesn't correctly identify the syntax error in code after compiling it, it tells a line number which will be near the error line but not exact. When your development board run into a problem it does very little to describe a problem. AVR dude should be allowed to interact individually with code, it has many options in its CMD tool, but none are allowed manually in Arduino IDE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have made many things with Arduino IDE, I coded many projects which can save money than purchasing the product from the market. I made major/minor projects for my college which include Calculator and Vehicle Tracking System. I bootloader many Atmega328p microcontrollers for my use and for my friends which saves a lot of costs, as without bootloader chip cost less. I also used AVR dude separately to set the clock and other registers in microcontroller

What do you like best about the product?
Apretty simple programme with various possibilities from all of the boars that Arduino offers. The Arduino programming language is quite simple and free of flaws. Things which I liked in Arduino are-
1) Packages and libraries present are really helpful.
2) Installation process is fast.
3) Best for beginners who are getting into electronics.
4) It has high ease of writing code.

What do you dislike about the product?
Arduino is great IDE tool but, few things which I did not like are-
1) Executing time is much higher when there is an error, keeps user waiting.
2) User interface of the IDE looks a bit old.
3) Help support through documention is less.
4) Lacks dark theme.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool to get started with embedded system. Once you get in practice you are good to go.

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of my favorite Integrated Development Environment Tool(IDE). I start my programming hobby with this Arduino. Later on, we used Arduino for our projects. It is more versatile and open-source. There are a lot of open-source libraries available that we can use for our project and make our task so simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues in this software are,
1. Sometimes COM port not supported issue may arise; it is fixed by restarting the PC/Laptop or by restarting Arduino IDE.
2. Theme is slightly unattractive. (Only Light Theme is available)
Other than this, Arduino IDE has no issues.

It helps me to build solutions for real-world problems, including Home automation - automatically switching ON/OFF lights, fans, etc.; It helps us to build RFID based attendance system for our office.
Best lightweight IDE for Arduino projects
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and easy to code in Arduino IDE; I use it to write sketches for IoT devices. The IDE provides a built-in library and boards manager; moreover, it includes examples and online documentation, making it the best tool for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Arduino IDE supports C/C++ language only. In rear cases, the sketches take time to upload, and the Serial Monitor doesn't support higher baud rate options. It usually displays an error message stating that the port is already in use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been beneficial in my Internet of Things projects, and it is straightforward to use. You can find code on the internet, and there are numerous tutorials available to help you learn. Due to its simplicity and intuition, programmers do not have much difficulty figuring out how to use it to write their own code, which is the primary advantage.

I was working smart home when I started working. I found out it's easy to set up, and you can easily the connected port also from ide.

The perfect IDE for interfacing code in Arduino Circuit Boards!
What do you like best about the product?
The Arduino CC ide is a very easy-to-use application, and there are many options to choose from all the boards that Arduino offers. The Arduino coding language is easy. There are no bugs in the software. Apart from that, there are many youtube tutorials which offer a straightforward explanation to everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
Arduino IDE takes a lot of time to upload the code onto the programming board and most of the times it fails doing so. Hence, there can be an application bug in the software which needs to be looked upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to complete my projects on Arduino Uno boards and also able to research upon new ideas for implementation for the electronics projects. Apart from that I am able to test and analyze the code.

It is a very light tool with all the most useful features required to develop code for Arduino and other embedded platforms such as ESP8266.
It loads very quickly without popups with tips and other stuff that delays one´s work.
The built-in examples feature is very helpful for beginners.

Lack of integration with version control software (e.g., SVN) and source code repositories (such as GIT).

I use it to write applications for an embedded systems course. It is the IDE I recommend to my students.
The main benefit is that due to its simplicity and intuitivity, students do not have much difficulty figuring out how to use it to write their own code.
