The Integration with ABM provide an easy enrolment and in a single click we can wipe or lock a device.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could benefit from improvements in the reporting section—for example, the ability to export custom information on activities performed on devices, such as when someone wipes or locks a device. Additionally, having custom notifications or alerts sent via email would be a valuable enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to centrally manage the applications we want users to install through a self-service experience.
The main benefit is that policies, apps, and profiles can be deployed on our assigned computers quickly, easily, and silently.

Kandji provides a powerful MDM without legacy bloat
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji was straightforward to configure and deploy. Their sales and technical support team were always available during the process and now that we are in production I haven't really needed any further support because the tool is so easy to administer. In comparison to the MDM solution we replaced, Kandji is a considerable improvement in terms of ease to configure and understand how the pieces fit together. It's entirely possible that Kandji has less features than our old tool, but because we didn't really understand how to use those features, it was actually an overall feature gain to make the switch. Plus we got access to their library of updated applications which means we no longer have to manually keep our most common apps up-to-date. To top it all off, Kandji is considerably less expensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the pre-built security configurations do not conform to the way Apple has updated their operating systems, which means devices can fall out of compliance despite being exactly how Apple designed them to operate. Thankfully Kandji provides a mechanism to mute individual alerts so they stop impacting our compliance reports while the underlying situation is sorted out between Kandji and Apple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allows us to manage all of our Apple products in a comprehensive manner to ensure our devices are up-to-date and fully compliant. It also provides tools to our users to self-install software without having to provide local administrative access.
Simplicity is key, and Kandji delivers
What do you like best about the product?
That you don't need to be an expert. Anyone with basic knowledge can get Kandji up and running in a sufficient way to align with ISO27001.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some automations Kandji could gain from having. Like automatic user correlation between Google Workspace users and local users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device enrollment, configuration alignment and ISO/SOC2 compliance
What all MDM should aim to be
What do you like best about the product?
I think the blueprints are a great way to handle who gets what in your company. The self-service feature really makes the user feel empowered (even though you still keep track of what they can do)
The design of Kandji also integrates really well with the MacOS style as well, this feels as if it was made by Apple itself
Within a few days, users told us how much better it was than what we previously had with Jumpcloud

What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some trouble with the migration agent to help us move from Jumpcloud to Kandji. It wasn't the end of the world and it could be fixed with a few lines of code from our IT engineer.
Other than that, we needed to buy a remote assistant tool since that was a feature we've had on Jumpcloud, which Kandji lacks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji fixes us having a bad MDM which left our users with a bad experience. having a swarm of users pining IT every time Slack needs to update is a pain. But as a security team member I can't let all those people be admin of their devices.
Sadly it's only a fix for Apple devices but that's most of our fleet

Effortless, comprehensive MDM for your Mac fleet
What do you like best about the product?
I tried for years to get multi-device management to work on Apple devices, but it wasn't until I adopted Kandji that I felt truly successful. Kandji makes it easy to get new devices enrolled, provides step-by-step guidance through Apple's sometimes-confusing APN process, and keeps adding functionalities (like endpoint protection) that all happen instantly on device enrollment. I use it for everything from provisioning to inventory aging!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if it could cover my Windows devices as well, but since we are almost entirely a Mac shop it's not much of a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes my management of all my Mac devices, both on-prem and remote, and it makes it easy for end-users to access approved applications without tech assistance.
Best Mac MDM!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Immediate deployment. User Friendly. Works everytime. Out of box applications. Their customer support team is unreal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Kandji for years and have seen them grow into a full capable MDM. Certain things in reporting and remediation is still work in progress but in general, there's nothing I "dislike" about Kandji.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing all Macs and iPads in the environment.
Amazing Experience with renewing our contract with Kandji
What do you like best about the product?
The quick support and turnaround when it comes to issues within our enivironment
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe some of the scripts that run are either too hard to implement or wouldn't benefit our company in the best way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
security and compliance
Kandji is a fantastic tool for managing Macs.
What do you like best about the product?
It’s user-friendly, runs smoothly in the background, and makes setup, updates, and security effortless. Customer support has also been excellent, quick, helpful, and super responsive. As a Mac user, I love how seamless and non-intrusive it is. Everything just works!
What do you dislike about the product?
The features are great, but for small teams or startups, the cost can be a barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It handles setup, security, compliance, and updates automatically, which saves a ton of time. It also simplifies onboarding and offboarding, new users get what they need from the start, and devices can be wiped or reassigned easily.
Easy to use and it does its job perfectly
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up an instance and starting with the management of devices is exceptionally well delivered by Kandji. During the onboarding phase one receives great support from account managers and designated technical specialists, so that one doesn't need to make compromises in one's planned deployment. Additionally, the customer support, reachable super easy via chat, is always quick and helpful – all my questions were addressed timely and successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage I haven't experienced any downsides yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In order to comply with regulators and security frameworks, we need to be able to have the best possible overview over our devices fleet. Furthermore it is of utmost importance that all devices are managed in a unified manner when it comes to configurations, settings and applications. Kandji allows us to automate a lot of the internal IT tasks surrounding the employee devices, which tasks would otherwise consume a lot of time and effort.
A powerful tool for our organization
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji's tools and feature set have been a game-changer for managing our Apple devices in the office. The depth of customizability and ease of implementation have allowed our relatively small team to thrive. Combined with Apple Business Manager we have both maintained quality and control over our devices and allowed for a better end-user experience for our staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a relatively small team Kandji's baseline pricing plan is quite steep. We would greatly appreciate a steeper non-profit discount and/or better pricing for smaller teams with less than 100 devices like us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to push app and os updates to all our devices, as well as manage our central app library with ease thanks to Kandji. It has also greatly simplified our new device setup process, as products ship right from our Apple Business account and are ready to launch as soon as they connect to the network.
