Great MDM Option for Apple Ecosystem!
What do you like best about the product?
We use Kandji every day to manage our fleet of Apple devices. The initial setup and configuration was straight-foward and the interface is very simple and user friendly. They are consistently adding new features to the service that makes my day to day as a Mac Admin easier! If I come across something I don’t know how to do or run into an issue, their customer support team was very friendly and helped me out! Overall its a great option for managing our Apple device fleet!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't had any dislikes about Kandji so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Kandji we did not have any way or means of supporting a fleet of Macs/iPads. Now we have a fleet that is more secure and easier to deploy. It has made my job as a Mac Admin so much easier.
Truly fantastic device management
What do you like best about the product?
Getting started with Kandji was very straight-forward for someone who has had a background in Apple MDM, using Jamf for many years. Setting up integrations are straight-forward, and the documentation is excellent for getting you up to speed. Implementation was an absolute breeze.
There's also a very well-populated GitHub repo, full of useful templates and guidance for common third-party apps, including EDR config which can be cumbersome.
The support team is excellent. Any query, no matter how big or small, is answered quickly, with professionalism, and by engineers who have a very deep understanding of the product.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the GitHub documentation has been neglected or is a little bit out-of-date, but for the most part it will get you 80-90% towards where you need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had a mix of MDM servers, utilising Kandji for macOS, and Intune for iOS, and the latter felt very lacking, and was cumbersome to set up, configure, and manage.
We also have an environment of users of varying technical abilities, and making the onboarding process as simple as possible for all users was a huge consideration. The quick setup time and responsiveness to changes on devices is fantastic, with changes applying in minutes.

Super simple Apple MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji was easy to setup and get our users started with. Since getting all our Macs onto it, we've had less issues with our Mac users than Windows. Once everything is setup, you can pretty much forget it (or at least until Apple makes OS changes you need to address.) Passport has also been handy for allowing our Mac users to utilize SSO for account login, like their Windows counterparts. Account managers and tech support are super friendly and quick to resolve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a dislike, but more of constructive criticism. It would be nice if Kandji could recognize when uploaded Profiles are out of date and incompatible with currently supported systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is extremely helpful in providing previews to their new features, information about incoming macOS changes that affect managed devices, and providing information on macOS security and vulnerabilities.
Sensational Customer Service!
What do you like best about the product?
User Friendly and Easy implementation. Customer Support is always helpful. Integration has been excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. We have been using Kandji for a year now and have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up our Foreman's phones and ipads that are used in the field has never been easier. I'm able to help them with issues that they may have from our office and able to keep our devices locked down in case of emergency.
Great tool for small teams!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji made it easy for our small IT team to effectively manage devices for over 50 employees. It was a streamlined process to ensure devices were meeting SOC2 compliance requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative to Kandji was its lack of windows device support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use plug and play solution for MDM. Made SOC2 compliance easy. Helped keep inventory for a completely remote team.
Smooth migration
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience was really great. Dedicated experts helped us choosing the best migration path from our old MDM to Kandji.
The admin portal is lightyears ahead of the competition. We had used our old MDM for years and thought that some features such as forcing app updates were just out of our reach. But after switching to Kandji we have better outlook on our device fleet and the status of each computer. Now keeping apps updated is super easy and the end user experience is very unintrusive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing where Kandji did not exactly meet our expectations was printer management (and printer settings). We ended up keeping our old (shell script based) installation packages because some printer settings were not available through the Kandji Library for printers. However this might have been more to our very specific needs (we like to set up printers very granularly with specific settings which can only be done with shell scripts).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji secures our devices, makes device onboarding very fast and easy. Device inventory and security settings are also very easy to implement with Kandji.
Great MDM Tool for Apple-Devices
What do you like best about the product?
IT's very easy to use, cause Kandji already implemented the Auto-App Update function. This makes it easyier for Admins. The Customer Support is always friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, everything is fine. Maybe the integration for scripts in the user-library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM with Apple devices for a fair pricing
Kandji has made endpoint management relatively smooth for the past 3 years!
What do you like best about the product?
Very streamlined, easy navigate UI.
Use Kandji daily to check on software deployments and status of devices in our fleet for troubleshooting
Assignment Maps for granular deployment of library items
API tools outside of Kandji allow for custom configurations
Easy integrations with provisioning from IdPs
Slack integrations for alerts
Customer support is always very responsive and helpful
Seamless to migrate from other MDMs into Kandji

What do you dislike about the product?
At this rate, there is not much that I dislike about Kandji. It is very easy to rollout new software deployments, test software, rollout macOS Updates, keep software patched. The list goes on!
If I had to say one thing, it'd be a bit more granular reporting / filters. The reporting is pretty good when you are looking for a specific item, but it can provide a lot of unnecessary information if you're looking for devices that do not have that specific item. There are ways around it, but it'd be nice to have it all within the Kandji UI.

macOS Updates - we are now able to keep a good grasp on keeping devices updated as well as rolling out updates
Software Updates - out of date software easily patched with scheduling
Filevault Key Escrow - never have to worry about not being able to get into a device
Software Deployment - easy to deploy software to specific users with Assignment Maps
Zero Touch-Deployment - Liftoff has made the rollout of new devices really seamless
Integrations with inventory management - easily keep track of our devices within 3rd party integrations, updating asset tags

A perfect companion to Apple Products
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is very intuitive. After being introduced to it, it only took a few days to be able to implement widespread deployments. I love using Kandji because it meshes well with other products.
Their Customer Support is also fantastic. I can always rely on them to quickly answer any questions I might have.

What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing that I dislike about kandji. Everything just works when I want it to work. So there’s no complaints from me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allows us to onboard users quickly via our Okta integration. It allows our IT team to focus on larger projects than spending a disproportional amount of time doing manual tasks
