Prisma Access Review- Nabil Javeed
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Prisma Access is how it combines enterprise-grade security with the flexibility of the cloud.
It also integrates well with existing Palo Alto gear, which makes hybrid setups much easier.
And honestly, the consistent security policies across all users and apps, no matter where they are, is a game-change especially with the increase in hybrid work.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Prisma Access—speaking honestly from a practical, day-to-day point of view—is that while it's powerful, the complexity under the hood can be frustrating, especially during initial setup or when something breaks.
Its very difficult to troubleshoot using logs and the documentation doesn't deep dive into technicalities.
Its very difficult to troubleshoot using logs and the documentation doesn't deep dive into technicalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prisma Access turns fragmented edge security into a unified, cloud-native model. That means fewer moving parts, better control, and a more secure environment across all endpoints and locations—without compromising user experience.
Excellent way to review and find great software.
What do you like best about the product?
One stop shop to look for all the software we need for our business. The search feature allowed us to find tax and accounting software we badly needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. The website is clean and search interface is super helpful. But I do think the availability of the software can be somewhat more exhaustive in terms of pricing and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were experiencing serious issues with network security. The team was completely overwhelmed with the incident reports and it felt like we would never catch up. The software we purchased allowed us to improve efficiency and reduce turnover times.
How Prisma Access Helps Real Teams Stay Secure in the Cloud, At Any Scale
What do you like best about the product?
I believe its ability to secure all sorts of workflows. Whether your on the cloud, workflow areas like apps, users, and especially data its important.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost, the somewhat steep learning curve, and easily read documentation can harbor difficulties. Especially in today's world where independent contractors are growing each year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the ability to feel more secure when conducting workflows, normal working hours, and interacting with hybrid to remote teams is important to consider.
It has been quite easy and enjoyable my experience
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a sleek and powerful tool for visual collaboration—perfect for big presentations, executive meetings, and team whiteboarding across locations. That said, from an IT support perspective, it’s not essential unless your company really depends on live collaboration between offices and has the budget for the specialized hardware it requires.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem that I currently see for Prima access is the dependency of local resources, which might cause a conflict on companies with low cost set ups

Currently we provide a services to several customers as aggregators, Prisma Access allow us to provide a Secure Web Gateway to each one of them, in order to receive key traffic.
Prisma Access Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
It consolidates multiple security functions—firewall, SWG, ZTNA, CASB—into a single platform, which reduces operational complexity and improves visibility across the entire network.
What do you dislike about the product?
the initial setup and policy configuration can be complex, especially for teams that aren’t already familiar with Palo Alto’s ecosystem. The learning curve is steeper than expected, and getting the full value requires time and skilled resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prisma Access is helping us solve the challenge of securing a distributed, hybrid workforce without compromising performance or visibility. With users connecting from various locations and devices, we needed a way to enforce consistent security policies while reducing reliance on traditional on-prem solutions. Prisma Access allows us to deliver secure access to applications—whether cloud-based or internal—through a single, cloud-delivered platform.
This has significantly reduced risk exposure, simplified management, and improved the end-user experience by minimizing latency and connectivity issues. It’s also helps in meeting compliance requirements more effectively, thanks to centralized logging, threat prevention, and integration with identity providers for zero trust access.
You’ve hit the Free plan limit for GPT-4o.

Good quality
What do you like best about the product?
Prisma Access is pretty powerful when it comes to providing secure, scalable, and easy-to-manage cloud-delivered security for remote users and branch offices. What I like most about it is how seamlessly it integrates a range of security services—like next-gen firewall protection, secure web gateways, and cloud-delivered IPS—into a single platform.
Its ability to support remote work without compromising security is key, especially with the increase in hybrid work environments. Plus, the cloud-based nature of Prisma Access means it can scale quickly, offering businesses the flexibility they need as their workforce grows or shifts.

What do you dislike about the product?
For organizations without a dedicated network/security team, the initial setup can be a bit complicated. Configuring and fine-tuning security policies, especially when you need to account for various user groups and branch offices, can take time to get right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With more people working remotely, traditional perimeter-based security (like on-prem firewalls) becomes less effective. Remote users are more vulnerable to attacks because they are often outside the corporate network and security layers.
Enterprise-Grade Security for a Remote Workforce
What do you like best about the product?
I had the opportunity to use Prisma Access from Palo Alto Networks while exploring cloud-delivered security solutions, and it left a strong impression. Even in a limited or trial capacity, it’s easy to see why so many enterprises rely on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup can be complex if you’re new to Palo Alto’s ecosystem. The UI is powerful but not the most intuitive at first. A bit of a learning curve—but worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even just evaluating Prisma Access helped me understand how large organizations secure distributed workforces at scale. It’s a must-have solution for businesses shifting to hybrid models or managing global teams.
Prisma Access Review
What do you like best about the product?
It’s super reliable for keeping remote teams secure without needing a bunch of hardware. The cloud-based setup makes it easy to scale as the team grows, and it’s great for managing security across different locations. The threat detection feels solid, which gives some peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup can be kinda tricky at first, especially if you're not super familiar with it. Also, the interface could be more user-friendly; it’s not the easiest to navigate. Pricing might be a bit high for smaller teams too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps secure remote teams and keeps data safe while accessing cloud apps. It’s solves the challenge of managing security for a distributed workforce, which may saves time and reduces risks. Having everything centralized in one platform makes security management way easier and modular.
Secure Access Without the Complexity – Prisma Access Delivers at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
Prisma Access excels in providing enterprise-grade security with a cloud-native architecture that actually scales. As a decision-maker, I appreciated how quickly we could onboard remote teams without compromising on visibility or control. The centralized management dashboard is intuitive, allowing our network and security teams to align effortlessly. Integration with our existing identity provider was smooth, and the granular policy controls gave us confidence that we weren’t trading off security for usability. Prisma Access also enabled faster incident response thanks to its logging and analytics features.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Prisma Access is powerful, the initial configuration can be daunting—especially if you don’t have prior Palo Alto Networks experience. Documentation is extensive but not always clear, and we occasionally ran into issues with policy propagation delays. Additionally, some legacy applications didn’t play nicely with the always-on VPN, requiring manual exclusions. Support is responsive but can sometimes take longer than expected to resolve more complex issues. That said, once things are set up, the day-to-day experience is solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prisma Access has helped us modernize our security posture without needing to overhaul our infrastructure or grow our team significantly. As we adopted hybrid and remote work models, we needed a scalable way to extend secure access to employees across geographies, without compromising on compliance or visibility. Prisma Access gave us exactly that—secure connectivity from anywhere, consistent policy enforcement, and centralized monitoring. It’s reduced our dependency on clunky legacy VPNs, improved our end-user experience, and freed up IT resources to focus on more strategic work.

What do you dislike about the product?
A major drawback could be the price of Prisma Access. For a large global company like ours it was easier to justify the cost and take advantage of the Prisma Access global scale. Easy integration especially for existing Palo Alto customers, but could be a challenge in some environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We managed to route all our remote users through PA Prisma Access and they don't have to connect through our data center thus reducing the load on our network. Great help from the PA Professional Services to assist in the deployment. We found more advantages with Prisma Access than ZScaler or Netskope, mostly due to the specifics of our manufacturing business and large multi-national operations. We saw significant returns on investment in the first two years so it was a win for us.
