Largest Hacker Community in the market
What do you like best about the product?
The community is very large with presence on many countries including china. This is useful for a multinational companies with assets in multiple regions/countries
What do you dislike about the product?
When your assets become very mature in security posture it is hard to manage the hacker's engagement

The triage is very slow and inconsistent. A regular pain point.

Irregularity of annual pen tests that don't identify all the security findings.

What do you dislike about the product?
While HackerOne delivers great value overall, there are some limitations in the analytics and statistics functionality that could be improved. For instance, the inability to filter data by open or closed reports makes it challenging to focus on the most relevant findings. Additionally, severity levels like none, low, and medium are grouped together, which makes it harder to analyze trends or prioritize based on specific severity tiers.
The analytics interface itself could benefit from a more streamlined and user-friendly design. It sometimes feels cluttered, making it less intuitive to navigate and extract actionable insights. Enhancing these aspects would make the analytics feature significantly more effective for tracking and optimizing our security performance.

HackerOne Makes Managing a Bug Bounty Program Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Hacker One provides us with researchers that help augment our internal pen testing team with finding bugs in our applications. It's a one stop shop that allows us to have a bug bounty program without having to worry about the infrastructure and recruitment aspects. It also integrates well with Jira, which we love.
What do you dislike about the product?
Triage can be highly inconsistent both in time it takes to triage and quality of triage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HackerOne allows us to have an external bug bounty program and provides us with the infrastructure to manage it.
The best community of hackers
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to get starting. I like the community aspect of the platform, and had extremely positive interactions with some hackers that went above and beyond what was requested from them.
Some hackers are too imaginative for their own good and found the weirdest bugs in our application or platform. In my opinion, a good bug bounty program is way more valuable to us than regular pen testing.

Triage can be slow at time and hit-and-miss depending on the complexity of the report and whether your systems are locked down.
Credentials Management is in dire need of improvements.
Some hackers do not respect the program guidelines, with Hackerone not interested in investigating or mediating breaches of conduct. This creates an environments where hackers gain more from not respecting guidelines if they eventually find something as a result. This can cost money and time to manage.

The new more intuitive interface simplifies vulnerability management and program implementation and setup. We frequently use the platform on an almost daily basis.
We get access to skilled ethical hackers providing diverse insights and detailed vulnerability reports. Love the videos they offer on the hacks. Our developers have been able to intergrate intot he platform quite easily.
Customer service team is proactive, offering personalized advice, and guiding us through setup and any ongoing issues we have.
But primarily h1 enables us to uncover vulnerabilities that other methods can overlook, and thus helps strengthen our overall cybersecurity.

Very little, but i guess some researchers in the last have provided less information than required for Devs to understand the issue and this delays the response from us as we can spend more time researching unfamiliar topics.

What do you like best about the product?
I would say the ease of use of setting up the Jira Integration as well as other tool integrations to set our entire workflow up to having the findings meet where the teams work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say my biggest dislike would be not having the ability to control asset tiers more natively in our complex programs world we prefer to group by importance and have assets in various groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have be able to quantify and act on more exploitable scenarios then we would have ever had been before.

What do you like best about the product?
HackerOne is helping us to improve our products by offering the chance to test them in a controlled environment. The interface is easy to use and the number of features like the campain, spot checks are great.

Triaging is sometimes slow and not accurate.

We do not have an internal pentesting team and using HackerOne is helping us with Pentest our features and services.
An incredible platform
What do you like best about the product?
An easy to deploy platform for handling, discovering bugs and vunerabilities from submission to completion. A great community of ethical hackers willing to help us improve our security and us being able to reward them for doing so.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Zapier API integration capabilities are somewhat limited and would be useful to have more options for webhooks/alerting with 3rd party systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's provided with a trusted space to seek contributions and discoveries from reputable ethical hackers and technology professionals, to elimitate any vunerabilities/bugs which enhances our platform overall.

I like the easy to use platform and the bounty verification and triage process. Hackerone validates the bug bounty reducing internal load.

Sometimes analyst response times are longer then expected.
