WSO2 Identity Server Review
What do you like best about the product?
The WSO2 identification server offers a variety of advantages related to identity and access management. It provides single sign-on (SSO), the OAuth2, and OpenID connect for secure inter-system authentication. Due to its extensibility, the integration with 2nd-party policies is quite straightforward, although the security is further augmented by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Likewise, WSO2 also strives to remain effective due to scalability with large customers and coupled with strong rule-based coverage. This server enables Federated identity management, and allows usage of other carrier service providers like Google or facebook. In addition, its open character helps cut costs, as well as the pathing, daily patches and some self-healing and optimization. All in all, it is a robust mileage solution for the temperance agency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulties of using WSO2 Identity Server also means that a lot of beginners may have trouble starting up. It can take some time to design and customize it since advanced knowledge is usually required in the process. And although it’s free as an open source software, some of its enterprise features might still need paying support. Also, Big deployments without proper scaling or optimization can impact the performance as well.

The WSO2 Identity Server has several key benefits. The most catching one is that it's an open-source platform. What do you dislike about the product?
Every coin has two sides and the same goes for the WSO2 Identity Server while it's a powerful and customizable solution, its complexity, resource demands, and need for technical expertise can be a downside for some users or organizations. On the other hand, if an org that requires a flexible, open-source IAM platform and has the expertise to manage it then these trade-offs may be acceptable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My org was facing struggle with manageing users identities across multiple applications and services. Without centralized control, it's hard to ensure consistency, security, and efficiency in handling user credentials and since WSO2 provides identity to both internal and external applications. So after implementing I this reduces the administrative burden of managing user accounts separately for each system and enhances security by providing consistent access control across the organization. Users benefit from SSO by not needing to remember multiple passwords, improving their experience and productivity.
