It automates and accelerates the process of screening customers against global watchlists, PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons), and sanctions lists. This reduces the risk of onboarding high-risk individuals and ensures we stay compliant with regulatory requirements.
Transaction Monitoring:
It enables continuous monitoring of customer transactions to detect suspicious patterns. This helps us identify potential money laundering activities early and respond quickly, improving our overall risk posture.
Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD):
With dynamic risk scoring and real-time updates, we can maintain an accurate risk profile for each customer over time, instead of relying solely on periodic reviews.

I like best clear User Interface of ComplyAdvantage.

However, some training is necessary before it becomes clear. I would say it is not very intuitive.

ComplyAdvantage highlights all matches of adverse media and other factors that are important for CDD while beginning any business relationships with a customer and also for ongoing CDD. It is a very helpful tool for transaction monitoring. We are timely alerted when a payment should be reviewed before being released.

What do you dislike about the product?
The risk-based approach can be non-sensical if not properly implemented. It would be most helpful to consider prompting administrators setting up the risk-based approach as to the values of overall risk thresholds consider previous inputs for each category of risk. However, the use of this risk-based approach is not required to use the ComplyAdvantage platform and therefore can be done with manual controls if required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ComplyAdvantage helps us to fight financial crime by increasing the scale and efficiency with which a compliance department can approve new business in line with best practice AML/TF protocols.

The platform does not have a proper graphical user interface, which might hinder the user experience for risk and compliance teams.

Constantly evolving soltion, which remains dependable and is backed with excellent customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The product is intuitive and, once integrated, works seamlessly in real time. It covers a wide range of requirements for screening and transaction monitoring. The support team worked with us on integration, and our customer success manager ensures we are properly utilising all aspects of the system.

Some rules adjustments require input from the support team, although this does tend to be pretty fast and painless.

Comply Advantage is solving the issue of real-time transaction monitoring and ongoing, continuous monitoring of PEP, Sanctions and Adverse Media.

What do you like best about the product?
They have a good list which they maintain which we can check against. It is easy to integrate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is quite outdated. The sanctions checking they do is based on a year of birth which I do not find to be the most accurate method.
