What I appreciate most about Cisco Duo is that it delivers solid security without making the login process complicated for users. The easy push notifications and broad integration options make it straightforward to deploy and manage across different system

Cisco Duo solves the problem of securing access by adding easy-to-use multi-factor authentication and device-based policies, making it harder for unauthorized users to gain access while keeping things simple for both users and admins.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Cisco Duo is very easy to use. The login approvals are quick and make my accounts feel much more secure without complicating my work. The easy use and quick login approvals help me save time and avoid hassle during sign-ins, as the authentication happens in just a tap. This makes Cisco Duo valuable to me because it keeps my accounts secure while still being very convenient to use. The initial setup was quite easy, with clear instructions and a simple installation process. I was able to set it up and start using it within a few minutes. Cisco Duo is secure, easy to use, and reliable for everyday login protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Cisco Duo notifications get delayed, especially when the network is weak. Also, switching between devices can be a bit slow at times. If these things become smoother and faster, the overall experience would be even better.

I find the ability to troubleshoot when the server is offline or Wi-Fi not working properly could be improved.

Sometimes the login approval notification arrives slowly, or there is a timeout. It does not feel good, especially if you're in a hurry. The primary authentication relies on internet access. If there is poor connectivity or none, access can be blocked.

I like Cisco Duo for its security aspect. It provides an extra security blanket when signing into servers via MFA. The initial setup was also extremely easy; I just had to scan a QR code. Overall, it's a great product.

It’s quick, reliable, and easy to use, with solid offline capabilities as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating the application isn’t straightforward and often requires manual intervention. For example, winget may detect that an update is available, but the update then fails due to a version mismatch or another error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the extra level of security we want through Multi-Factor Authentication for our servers and shared workstations in common areas.
