IBM Db2 is flexible "Relational Database Management System" and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
IBM Db2 is a stable platform and Integrated Relational Database Management System that leverages high-performance, virtualization, and energy efficiency features. Also, it is supported by different media.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little bit more complex for a beginner rather than this, I don't have much, but I love IBM Db2. It helps to store, analyze and retrieve the data efficiencly. It extended with Object oriented features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Db2 will make our work easy and quick, increasing productivity; connectivity with DB is also easy, and the more helpful thing is DB2 is extended with the support of Object Oriented features and nonrelational structures with XML.

It's ease of use, administration, security, resilience, performance, stability, scalability, availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not used enough! It's well-respected, but could do with more press!

Transaction processing, data warehousing.

Really fast query execution. Easy to integrate with system. Easy to learn for new learner.

Very expensive for small scale industries.

With imb we are able to secure our sensitive information.
Highly Available & Safe Storage DB
What do you like best about the product?
It has a standard SQL engine to write queries once and reuse across multiple platforms, and it provides high availability while providing extended computing and storage on the managed cloud. It allows database partitioning to manage computations and parallel processing of queries efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we could have support to have a native UI tool to view data and execute queries. The query performance might be slow sometimes for long-running processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use DB2 to store and process transactional and mission critical data. It offers a higher level of security by default, making it a better choice for applications handling sensitive information processing.

What do you like best about the product?
This is the most efficient relational database from mainframe perspective. I am using it from past 8 years and it is very user friendly and you can fetch the data easily by writing the queries in the cobol program as per your requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing which I dislike about DB2. You can easily reset the index and create daily backup image copy in very minimal time. It fetches the data from database in a very short span of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this database in a banking domain and it easily update the live transactions at the very same time without any lag. You can read the latest updated data at any moment.
IBM DB2 is one of the best data management product that is available in today's market.

The screen navigations are very user-friendly, and there is always a help menu on each screen to learn the commands used. The availability is very high all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular that I dislike about this product. I have been using the product for more than 6 (six) years now and have been only helpful in all ways.

IBM Db2 helps us browse the database/tables more easily, particularly in a legacy environment like z/os. It also helps in identifying the relations between tables,

IBM DB2 is a well-secured database management system that a typical hacker can assess. It practices layers of security before one can manipulate the organization's database itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a thorough understanding of drivers, and SSL connection before you can connect a DB2 database to a third-party application. There is a limited support community to get answers to your questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DB2 Cloud helps to deploy your database without the need to install the whole DB2 DBMS. Installing a DB2 server will no longer be your concern when teaching database concepts.
