Unmatched customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Their product and service are straight forward and really easy to use! The information delivery could not be better. The customer service is really fast and pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a security expert, perhaps guides related to the findings could come in handy, but to be fair it is not their responsibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a security expert, the way that they provide scheduled scans and how the reports are generated really helps to mitigate risks.

Excellent option for small charities
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small charity and every dollar counts. I contacted their customer service team and asked if they had an option that would meet our needs. They understood our requirements and provided a solution that was an excellent fit.
They have a fantastic product, but what makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest is their customer service.

What do you dislike about the product?
Normally I can find something I dislike about most organisations. Unfortunately, I don't have any negative to say about HostedScan. They more than meet our charity's scanning needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we provide more features for our users HostedScan gives us the confidence that our website is secure and we have successfully protected our users' information.
Easy to use and keeps me informed of potential vulnerabilities on my network
What do you like best about the product?
Automated scans get sent to me every month and keep cyber security as a priority. With the possibility of becoming complacent and take my mind off of security, Hosted Scan notifies me every 30 days about what needs to be addressed on my network to keep my company safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier only allows notifications to be sent every 30 days, which I wish could be more frequent. But otherwise it is a solid product that I would recommend to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Evaluating my network to ensure that there are no vulnerabilities which would present a foreign actor an opportunity to access our secure data. HostedScan send me periodic scans to not me of what the current attack surface looks like.
Good security tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hosted Scan can give 24x7 updates about security vulnerabilities. It helps a lot in risk management and scaning our system. It imports automatically from AWS which is an interesting feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design and support is perfect but they lack in some features. Many sites offer few additional features for testing in the same amount, but if it can be helped, hosted Scan can increase it features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosted Scan helps me to scan my system easily for any vulnerabilities and risks all across it. It gives me the result almost instantly and the design is also very easy to use.
My go-to open-source scanner for vulnerabilities
What do you like best about the product?
HostedScan is the best collection of open-source vulnerability scanning tools that I have ever used. It combines multiple scan types into a single tool, with options to schedule scans and dashboards for greater visibility on scan results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using a tool like HostedScan is that it uses open-source tooling and is thus, quite limited in its functionality. For quick scans, it is fine but for Enterprise use cases, it wouldn't be the best choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I need a quick insight into the security posture of a domain I'm working on, I can run scans using HostedScan and get visibility into what areas need to be worked on to improve the overall security of the domain.
Room for Growth, But Solid Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of things that Hosted Scan checks during the scan it runs. Everything from networks to servers and websites are scanned for security risks which is helpful. So is the dashboard piece.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool still feels a bit clunky and like it could use some UX updates to add a little bit more enhancement to it. Usually I like simple and straightforward but this sometimes feels too simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scanning networks servers and websites for risks and alerting when there is a high threat level from a target that needs to get resolved after being detected and vulnerable.

Detects over 50,000 vulnerabilities, checks for open ports. Competitive pricing and great technical support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like some more alternative methods for payment.

Provides 24x7 alerts and detects security vulnerabilities. Automatic, comprehensive and worry-free.
A great experience for security checking
What do you like best about the product?
I like it being free for small scale users or small websites, 10 scans per month is more than enough. Also I would pay for that great service. I like being descriptive in showing me the security vulnerabilities and also showing me the solution to the problem!
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan is great thing, but not so much useful if you are not able to pay for more. Being limited to 10 scans per month could be bad for small scale users, you could increase it to at least 20.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of searching for a website security checker solution and in the same time being affordable. Not just for the free plan but for the paid plan it's so powerful and affordable.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard and the way the visuals of the report presentation are great. The reports are overall quite far-reaching with clarifications as well.

Nothing much to change about. Need some UX design to be improved
