DSAR management, cookie management, opt outs/do not sell/share, future state to automate DSAR. The benefit is that I have one place to manage these functions and can utilize customizable forms and workflows to manage this work.

Better than the most
What do you like best about the product?
Throughout my career I've worked with different data privacy and protection planforms. Securiti is by one of the most customisable platforms. I've been using it every single day as part of my job and although it takes time to get used to, once you do it's easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are notifications on the platform when new features are deployed, it's easy to miss them, especially if the first 3 notifications are about modules that we do not have like consent or data subject rights. We do receive an email informing of the new deployment, but it's easy to miss due to the same reason, some deployments don't apply to us
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
before Securiti the company used multiple tools to review a request, from MS forms, to Excel to Team Channels. With Securiti, we now only use one (Securiti), which also helped improving our cycle times.
It has revolutionised our privacy risk assessment process.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have a Securiti community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to implementing Securiti we had fragmented, inefficient processes for assessing privacy risk over multiple tech solutions. Cycle times to approval were not meeting business needs.
Since integration we have seen an 80% drop in cycle times to approval. We have been able to implement a clear privacy risk position using underlying template scoring which means we have been consistent in our approach.
The Self-Serve Portal creates a clear call to action that the business has fully embraced, which combined with an easier process flow and fast approval times means we have very happy business owners.

Consent management framework facilitates robust privacy and open banking compliance
What is our primary use case?
We have been evaluating Securiti in the context of Australian regulations such as the Australian Privacy Act and GDPR. The goal is to understand its potential for GDPR use cases, user rights, data lineage, and open banking, which relates to Australia's consumer data right. Our work involves evaluating Securiti's benefits for regulatory compliance related to privacy and open banking.
What is most valuable?
The consent management framework is notable for its ability to manage consent across multiple platforms, which is significant for privacy and open banking. The data lineage visualization is powerful for tracking data paths and interactions. The tool offers third-party risk management, business continuity compliance, and aligns with local regulations, which is beneficial for operational resilience.
What needs improvement?
While the software is functionally robust and intuitive, there is a challenging learning curve. Although it touches on operational resilience, there is potential to expand its capabilities in this area, supporting frameworks like DORA in Europe and CPS 230 in Australia.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Securiti for just over a year, maybe a little longer.
How are customer service and support?
The customer service and support from Securiti have been noted for their helpfulness and responsiveness. The team in Asia-Pacific has been particularly supportive and generous with partners, providing comprehensive assistance and material.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was a collaborative effort. From memory, it was relatively straightforward, though there were a few glitches.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I have been looking at ServiceNow for comparison, focusing on IT services and operational resilience, but my expertise in ServiceNow is limited.
What other advice do I have?
The software requires an understanding of the regulatory environment and is not a silver bullet solution. It's essential to know about local privacy laws and organizational security policies while using the software. Overall, I would rate Securiti a nine out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
