What do you like best about the product?
Openly accepts input from the user community to consider new features.
Comprehensive tool that automates digital forensic exams of various devices.
Excellent training program.
Initial support helpdesk response is timely.

What do you dislike about the product?
Follow up responses to questions during recent help desk contact were delayed.
Updates override prior install, sometimes the updates create issues not expereinced in prior version.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching for evidence to support investigations, either to support findings of illegal activity or lack of support indicating illegal activity.
Magnet Forensics Software
What do you like best about the product?
The great and easy to use User Interface, artifact category well placed and parsed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the filter dropdown too long for smaller screen (thumbnail view) and not scrollable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Magnet cares about their customer's mission and success more than any company I've worked with.
What do you like best about the product?
Magnet Foreniscs started out as a way to help and enable law enforcement. Over the years, they have not lost sight of that primary focus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about Magnet Forensics. I think they are doing a great job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are combating Child Exploitation with Law Enforcement. They are finding new a better ways to do that. As a parent, they are directly helping to keep our children safe.
Years of Success with Magnet Axiom
What do you like best about the product?
Magnet Forensics Axiom does a great job of parsing and processing artifacts from Mobile Devices. It works seamlessly with GrayKey extractions. Portable cases make it easier to share information with Investigators and District Attorneys. Axiom is an excellent tool to process data from numerous sources from Social Media to Computers, but modular enough to let you just pay for what you specifically need for your investigations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I have seen with Magnet Forensics is the uninformed who have only heard of Cellebrite and think that it is somehow inferior. I have not seen any downside in the actual use of the software. Like any specialized tool with addons, the whole software kit can be expensive, but with Axiom, you only pay for what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet is providing a fully functional Mobile device forensic processing tool at a reasonable price. I have used multiple other tools and they are either more expensive for the same or similar results, or do not give anything more than a push button product that does not allow you to dig into the source files to validate the returns.

Magnet Forensics stands out for their customer support and services offered. AXIOM is a top of the line product that consistently delivers.

Magnet Forensics could tweak their documentation to allow quicker searches for more relevant articles.

Magnet Forensics is helping to streamline investigations, and offering constant, updated solutions for the issues that investigators run in to daily.
Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
The Artifact first focus organizes the displays the data I require.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need patience to let the program work. You can't immediate see the file structure etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MF helps us get to the data and artifacts we need to help support our Physical and Netowrk Security teams.
Axiom is my favorite tool in my toolbox

Easy to use and allows me the ability to go as deep as I need to go, effortlessly

Missing data such as $I30 files which woudl be very useful

Allows for easily examining the artifacts associated with the investigation. The ability to filter out the non-related artifacts is priceless
Magnet and Graykey together is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy of the sofware and the power of the tools to translate the infomation. The reporting tools are very helpful and easy to understand and explain to a case agent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ongoin increase of cost. all of the products are woth every dime but for smaller agencies the price of the tools can consume the entire budget.

What do you like best about the product?
Magnet AXIOM is by far the best parsing tool that I have used in my career. The ability to focus down on the evidence to the smallest details is fantastic. While it may not be as user friendly as other tools to a new investigator, once you understand the software and it's abilities, you'll never want to use something else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve getting started is the biggest negative when it comes to Magnet. AXIOM can be a little intimidating to a new investigator, but after you become familiar with it, it is by far one of the best parsing tools on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet Forensics is solving the all-in-one approach to digital evidence. No matter what type of investigations you are running, Magnet has figured out a way to seemlessly incorporate that into their software.
A groundbreaking software!
What do you like best about the product?
The Magnet Forensics suite is the most intuitive forensic tools I've used to date. From Magnet Axiom to Magnet Outrider, I can always count on my tools to work when and where I need them to.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Magnet Forensics. If I were forced to choose a "gripe" it would be the very rare instances of software crashes. However, I'm quite convinced the isssue is largely based on hardware rather than the Magnet Forensics suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet Forensics has solved the age old problem of finding data in forensics and positively attributing it to a location on the physical device.
Without Magnet Forensics it can be extremely difficult to pinpoint a location in a timely manner. Magnet parses and relays this information in both a user friendly and intuitive manner. I have saved countless hours of what would have been manual labor by using the Magnet Forensics suite.
