Great platform for data pipeline observability and data lineage

What do you like best about the product?
Pantomath's best features to automate data operations and continuous monitoring of datasets across the enterprise data ecosystem and the data lineage to complex data pipelines saves a lot of time in finding the root cause of the issue. It's easy to use and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could be improved and we used to receive some false alarm notifications due to some bugs but the pantomath team was quick to correct those bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves lot of time for data engineers as Pantomath takes care of the manual reverse engineering of complex data pipelines and identify the root cause of data pipeline failures.

Pantomath is a unique and powerful data pipeline observability tool

What do you like best about the product?
We have a complicated data environment with many pipelines built upon each other. Until we started using Pantomath, there was no way to identify breaks in the pipelines in a central place, and more importantly, understand their downstream impact. Now we understand exactly what is going on and get alerts before our end users see a problem, with enough actionable data to fix the problem and address the correct user group if needed. Confidence in data reliability and quality has increased in the business. Also, the Pantomath team is responsive, proactive and overall excellent to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a learning curve and requires a custom engagement to set up connectors and get the alerting right to elimate noise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying issues in our data environment and allowing us to resolve them before they cause end user impact.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to set up monitoring and alerts in Pantomath. I also like the fact that the tool is continually being improved thanks to Craig and his product team. They are always listening to our feedback and give us great support. Thankyou!
What do you dislike about the product?
The monitoring algorithms IMO do need some attention to increase the number of options available, so that users can fully customise their alerts to suit their specific circumstances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have never had an end-to-end tool looking specifically at data pipelines before. This is a real gap in the market which seems dominated by IT focused monitoring tools. This is accessible, easy to use and gives us the visibility of where our pipelines are having the biggest issues, that we lacked previously.

Pantomath: A product that delivers on its promise

What do you like best about the product?
I now know about a failure before my end users. Historically, I found out about a failed report execution when an end user received a blank report or a report didn't update. Pantomath provides me visibility based on alerting when an ETL failed that populates a report I used, when a Power BI report failed to refresh - and because of this, I am able to not only intervene and run a manual update, but also build trust with the business by alerting them before they come to me with an issue.

Pantomath has also saved us from deploying a change that would have cause significant downstream impacts. We were able to see all the reports, systems and downstream products that would fail had a data change been implemented without proper steps taken upstream to account for the change.

The UI is easy to use - doesn't take much training to know how to use the tool. My team members use the tool almost daily, especially as we are working through our cloud migration. Any time we need support, Pantomath's support team is at the ready. I appreciate how attentive our support team has been to our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pantomath is a start-up, which has it's pros and cons. We loved working with their product team as they were able to build a product that meets our needs. The implementation wasn't as seamless as we had hoped, but that has more to do with our on-prem environment than Pantomath itself. We do receive a lot of alerts, which is exactly what Pantomath promised - it takes time to adjust the alert sensitivity but the effort pays off when done right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have great visibility into data and job lineage. Pantomath allows us to see where all our data is being used, when a job fails and will impact downstream reporting. The business lacked trust in the products our data and analytics teams were producing because they would find issues and errors before we would. Pantomath is helping us to build that confidence and trust back up.

Great data pipeline observability tool

What do you like best about the product?
Data pipelines can be quite complex and over time we had built 1000s of them. Pantomath seamlessly plugged into our pipeline and started monitoring for any failures and freshness issues. A great platform for SREs to be on top of any data issues and be proactive in remediation. Builds trust with stakeholders over time!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first we were getting too many notifications and we had to manually adjust sensitivity to our liking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provided end to end data monitoring and observability across our data ecosystem on prem and cloud.
