Hands down the best managed Vector DB solution.
Beautiful and easy to use interface. Easy provisioning. An awesome python SDK that makes integration a breeze. Pinecone is hands down the easiest way to leverage Vector DBs in your application. We are using it as a knowledge base to power an LLM integration, but it truly is a more powerful and NLQ-based search index, and I'd use it as a replacement for OpenSearch or ElasticSearch too, not just for LLM apps.
Nice and easy to use
I am using Pinecone for my LLM-based app and switching to the Pay As You Go worked seamlessly. It's actually cheaper than hosting the solution.
Vector DB startup done right.
Pinecone is not the cheapest vector DB, but it is the easiest and they work with conviction towards improving developer experience and in the last 8 months I've used them strides has been made. Their python SDK has in many ways been plug and play for us when building out our MVP. Pinecone has been vital in adding features to our site fast and will be integral for us in our continuous development of future features.

Speed and Ease of Use
I’ve tried a few different vector database services and they were all much much more difficult to get started on and didn’t provide the speed that Pinecone has. Docs are extremely easy to follow and api is well designed.
Feedback about Pinecone
Performance is quite good for vector storage and retrieval. I feel that cost is bit at higher side. We need to know have better visibility of new features coming into future releases.

Product Doesn't Complete Registration
You can subscribe to the product, but when you click the register link to continue setting up the product, it just errors with a "registration token missing" error. I tried in multiple accounts, no luck. Also, the cost is very vague.
