Parametrical featutures are vert useful for mechanical assemblies

SimCenter 3D provides a big range of simulation solutions linked to powerful CAD system NX
What do you like best about the product?
Many simulation solutions available in one GUI liked together with a modern CAD system NX. Tutorials are available to any task and a big Online help is linked to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently the PostProcessing could be improved especially the plots of different variances in one chart is not as seamless as other tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acoustic simulation and eigenfrequency solving for air intake and exhaust systems. Preprocessing of FEA simulation with Abaqus solver and Design Space Exploration (DSE) for these task.
POWERFUL AND RELIABLE
What do you like best about the product?
I found the parameterisation very useful as it saves time when optimising the component

is not very intuitive and userfriendly I also don't like the fact that when changing Simcenter version I can no longer find the parameters in the position they were in the previous version

structural optimisation problems and static verification of mechanical components

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the intuitive software, the ease of use and the accuracy of the calculations. I find interesting and useful the concept of idealization that combined with synchronous modeling allows to speed up the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the documentation is often too complex and thorough for the industrial environment where it is necessary to have the widest possible knowledge of the software but not excessively detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both CAD and simulation tools, thanks to the ease of use and intuitive interface, have help us reduce time to market by reducing the likelihood of error in terms of assembly problems or poory designed components.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a best tool to create integrated designs and inbuilt geometry and simulation tools helps in making best designs. It is one of the best tools that i have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may take sometime to use all the features of the tools but the customer support really helps in findig the solution of any given problem. It is a go to tool

As an agency i like to work for my clients and create 2d and 3d geometry for their needs.It gives the best idea to use higly integrated designs and make the work look very easy.

Using Simcenter3D for large models
What do you like best about the product?
> Integration with NX CAD is good (no neutral formats such as step or parasolid needed).
> If properly set-up, it is easy to interchange components in the FEM model.
> Synchronous modelling works very nice once you have experience (also to idealize the geometry).

> Standard Nastran mesher is quite poor (very often results in bad element quality).
> Many (seemingly) double functions (e.g. split face and divide face).

Efficient Stimulation Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Simcenter 3D allows you to get a feel of the possibilities of a product that a company/firm/startup is intending to produce and introduce in the market. It allows you to reduce the number of tests to a bare minimum which saves time cost and efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like to change is that, the Interface of the Software is very technical, which restricts it's use and reach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me and my company save a lot of efforts, time, and cost. It helps in stimulation of the product my client or its team is intending to provide, which enevtually results in efficient and effective growth of the company.

It helps with design and getting FEA iterations on design.
A unified, scalable and open 3D simulation environment
What do you like best about the product?
AI is very fast and reliable and allows us to greatly speed up processes and automated workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
While the solution is worth the money, we found it a bit expensive for the price we had in mind

Simcenter 3D helps us to evaluate performance and to optimize acoustic design workflows in a way that we used to do more manually before
