I dont like the software updates and customer support

I use it for structural analysis which enables me to asses how structures and components respond to various loads and conditions.
I use it for Fluid dynamics which help me for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to analyze fluid flow patterns, pressure distribution, and heat transfer in fluid systems.

I mostly used Simcenter 3D for 3D printing and designe.
What do you like best about the product?
The layer-by-layer printing simulation. The temperature and stress data it provides is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't faced any problem while working on Simcenter 3D, so I don't have any specific thing that I disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The 3D printing simulation feature saved me a lot of time and resources by pointing out my errors before the actual printing.

It made Complex thermal simulation in to simple format. Easy to distinguish between materials

Exporting data is difficult when comparing with other simulation softwares

I am more into thermal transfering materials, so it made an easy method

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about the software is the associativity between part file, fem file and simulation file. Make changes to the part are automatically reflected to the simulation model itself, saving a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some actions can be done in multiple ways to achieve the same results, which can cause confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software is used to predict vibrations and stresses in our products for multiple loadings and constraints.
Acoustic software for powertrain simulation
What do you like best about the product?
Fits into our workflow, powerful, solver and postprocessing, very good support, integrated to other software from other vendors. Used every time we assess a powertrain acoustically.
What do you dislike about the product?
High end tool and if not used so frequent, details may be forgotten.

Nastran solver which produces error numbers and each time need to google for error detailed description. I miss any morphing tool or I'm not aware of any.

it is quite simple to use and it is cad-based so sometimes it is simple to implement a cad change, even if the assembly is huge

It is cad-based. Sometimes it is a matter if you have to work directlty with and on the mesh
