Good leadership from our CSM Connie and assistance from others at FourKites
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, coming into transportation I did not have a knowledge of best practices in tracking/tracing loads. Connie certainly helped me get onboarded into FourKites and has certainly helped mold Michaels into FourKites users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support team takes a while for responses of any issues-but its understandable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking shipments for our Michaels retail locations
Visibility on our Truck loads has never been better
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of using the platform and the reports to monitor compliance with tracking and the tracking consistency.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick something it would be the "going live" turnaround time from once we bring the Carrier to Four Kites. Overall very satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More visibility for our customers and dispatch team. Eliminated phone calls to the carriers and within the company regarding updated on out truck loads. Quicker response time to a customers request for location of the truck.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Four Kites is that they are very willing to listen to customer feedback and incorporate it into their service. They are very collaborative and willing to try just about anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike, perhaps the only drawback is that this is a new startup company, and so their experience can be limited. However, it's also a positive thing as they can see things from a different, fresh perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving visibility problems, especially with carriers that have less technological offerings. Four Kites offers way to obtain data from the carrier that we have been unable to do ourselves.

FourKites has taken a vested interest in our business and we feel like our CSM, Connie, is a part of our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see carrier onboarding proceed at a quicker pace. I realize there are many factors beyond the control of FourKites that cause carrier onboarding to take longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Load visibility to stakeholders in our organization. Knowing that a load has been picked up, is in route, and on track to deliver on time.
We have realized the benefit of knowing the transportation status of our shipments in real time and can make business decisions based on real data now.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
FourKites is a great solution. We reviewed a number of potential tracking packages and found FourKites to be the best in class. We have not been disappointed.

What do you like best about the product?
Strong knowledge base and support. Great team members who are technically proficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, too many meetings. we've been able to combine/reduce these meetings to prevent overlap and redundancy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Carrier visibility for outbound shipments. Benefits: close to real time visibility, ability to decentralize track and trace.

Outstanding product and excellent support.

Real time tracking, geofence is great. Also impressed by additional features like temperature tracking

I think there can be more reports and filter options on reports provided in future

Carrier tracking and detention
FourKites has changed the way we track shipments.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to search for specific loads, customers, carriers, etc. Provides an easy snapshot of which carriers are doing well and which carriers have room for improvement. It's great for our customer service and sales folks out in the field as well as we're able to keep them informed on the location of their products in real time. This has led to better relationships and collaboration with our end users, which has increased customer satisfaction and improved their confidence in our ability to ship them the product they desire in a timely fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'd like to see change is that we didn't have to click on filter when refining results. I'd like to be able to update as I refine and not have to click on "filter." Other than that, I's been really great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better visibility to carrier shipments. Less calls from customer service for ETA's, which has freed up time for our transportation planners.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look, read reviews and reach out to your peers in the transportation industry many of whom are probably already using the FourKites platform. The Geofencing features are great, and it's a wonderful tool to keep your carrier honest.

Our partners often request the delivery status of their loads and FourKites makes obtaining this information extremely easy. We can respond to our partners with accurate information in a very short amount of time

there is nothing to dislike, the app works just fine

I do not forsee any problems.

Top-Notch Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
There is no more guessing on when the truck is going to arrive. The visibility provides great benefits to a multitude of parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything I dislike at this time. The more I use FourKites, I am sure there will be opportunities presented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email traffic is significantly reduced and answers to questions are addressed before even being asked. There is a high level of transparency.
