What do you like best about the product?
Good app to monitor the list of daily activities
Better tool to get the signoffs from the clients without any manual work
Documents can be shared with the clients via this app for signatures.
Issues can be assigned to the respective consultants by the users directly

What do you dislike about the product?
For the consultants, the Dashboard for daily activities should be periodic with bar diagrams.
The explanation for the task delay which has been maintained by the consultants to be displayed to the project managers in a single page by consultant wise and period wise

KTern - A Go-to Tool in handling Complex Digital Transformation Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I stepped into the KTern tool when I was handling two S/4 HANA Greenfield implementation projects at once with almost 6 modules comprising of 610 GSIs. Ktern made life easier in terms of monitoring and controlling the entire execution with SAP Activate methodology.
Thanks to Clone and Create option which allows you to map any level of GSI to the project activities. It very much helped during the execution of workshops in Explore and Realise phase. It helped me conduct Daily Standup effectively and the team could see their tasks for the day and tasks which are overdue as well to act & close them.
In-Built Analytics help save time while preparing Status reports. Being able to bring all the project stakeholders into the tool helped in democratising the project execution.
Project document repository and document sign offs are exceptional in saving quite a lot of time in follow ups. Support team from Ktern also did a fantastic job in enabling the team and handling the issues.

Though there are improvements that can be done in the tool to make it more user friendly, I would strongly recommend Ktern to be coupled to any Digital Transformation Initiatives.

KTern.AĪ, the SAP S/4HANA Conversion Product Suite built based on the SAP Activate Methodology, is the perfect toolkit for SAP Partners.

No dislikes about the tool. Everything about this tool is a savior for our projects, SAP investors, consultants, and partners.

It helps in solving the conversion from ECC to S4/HANA and it benefits the users with the same.

The Business Process and Custom Code Analysis provided by Ktern helps to identify and give insights into what we can expect in our digital transformation journey of S4 Hana implementation.
The Project Management section gives a 360-degree snapshot of every aspect of project management activities which can be tracked and monitored at Global Scope Items. The Sign offs no longer need a physical document and can be done at a single click with all stakeholders informed and avoids multiple emails.

With evolving features and a potential roadmap, I don't see any downside of Ktern yet.

What do you like best about the product?
Project Hub, which works as a one-stop solution for all project activities/tasks. Ktern is a very user-friendly tool and easy to operate. Ktern provides Activate kernel, which is again a fantastic feature which helps S4 journey smooth

If you are planning towards your journey on S/4 then you should start with Assessment driven by KTern. KTern platform will generate heatmap, Business Scenario reports, Inventory of Pains and their respective solutions & deployment plan which will guide you on your path towards S/4. .the beauty of this platform is that the Assesment is not the end, but actually is the starting point as this platform can be used throughout the entire project execution based on Activate methodology.

Do start with Assesment with KTern and see for yourself the depth it brings to the table
Detailed evaluation of ECC environment's custom objects / code
What do you like best about the product?
The detailed analysis is very useful and then from the analysis it gives you the confidence in the estimates to for the project timeline and costs to upgrade the custom code.
What do you dislike about the product?
More analysis on the data migration. For me, the effort to migrate / upgrade the data is still a black box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We understand there is a failure point with the custom code during the upgrade. So Ktern is helping us understand how big of a problem this is. It is helping us estimate the project timeline for the upgrade. It is giving us the confidence that we have found all the big gaps for the custom code upgrade.
