MagnetOne is an all in one digital forensic solution.
What do you like best about the product?
MagnetOne allows me to manage all of my cases in one platform. I can start a case in GRAYKEY and it populates all of the device information. I can then assign aces to the case detective. I’m able to process the device information Automate using MagnetOne and then push it out to Magnet Review. This makes the case workflow much better than jumping between different tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides. I’m looking forward to the full deployment of MagnetOne Storage. I’m really excited about the ability to store cases in the cloud instead of on prem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time to evidence. With Magnet Automate and Magnet FasTrak, I’ve been able to eliminate all my backlog.
Powerful tools with an easy-to-use interface
What do you like best about the product?
The products that Magnet Forensics provides are the best in their field - they're powerful, offer the latest technology, and provide an easy user experience that is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
While extraction support for the newest devices takes time. I understand that Magnet is working hard to address these concerns in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our lab leverages the latest Magnet Forensics software. We are noticing a positive trend in the availability of extraction support, turnaround times, and getting the output to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Questionable practices.
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. I'm glad we walked away. Taking a month to get a quote was painful.
What do you dislike about the product?
What didn't we like about Magnet? The worst was being told how to use their product. How they treat potential partnerships was insulting. I could go on, but why bother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet simply stopped. We told them what they did wrong, but didn't care. Highly questionable sales team.

The interface from axiom is very friendly.

Their team seems to genuinely care about the customers and use their own experience to help find solutions whether it’s reaching out to colleagues or support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much the same as anyone, the cost. But, I know you have to have a cost to be able to provide a great product. No other complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The media explorer is my favorite feature. It takes away the chance of seeing multiple photos by stacking them from hash values.
Magnet Forensic products are my most used tools.

Magnet has the most user-friendly interface. Investigators and examiners both find it easy to navigate and tag evidence.
What do you dislike about the product?
One arguable downside to Magnet is the overwhelming amount of tools. Having less products with more functions might be more beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet forensic tools have allowed my agency to quickly and efficiently acquire and analyze large amounts of data. As well as, easily categorize media which is a huge advantage when working investigations.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how receptive Magnet is to customer needs/requests. Very quick to find solutions when problems arise as well.

More transparency when there is not a current solution to an issue

All in one suite that is my primary tool.

Processing time is long but so much data is obtained.
