Horrible onboarding process combined with an outdated complicated functionality
What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing to like unless you enjoy being frustrated with a poor platform design and useless employees who do not provide support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their onboarding process is not there...........once we signed up, there was ZERO guidance to getting the platform installed into salesforce. The layout / flow of their platform is poorly designed in that there is no guided experience to creating your document.......the one they have is worthless with no help tools. Separately, they have links on their guided experience that take you to a generic conga page that is not relevant to the area you are working. . Furthermore, they use weird terms to describe things like "solution." vs. "Create a new document and button". They also have all these weird codes for your document to do certain things vs just using words and/or providing a help icon to explain what the weird term means. To make things exciting, we have paid for Conga yet we can't use it any longer as our "trial has expired" so another winning element to this platform as they take your money and somehow have issues. We signed a contract with them, so how we had a trial platform is very odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga created more problems as a result of poor quality employees combined with a poor platform design. It's easier to create your documents in visual force than use Conga.

Makes it easy to generate important business documents and coupled with the email template covering makes it easy to distribute document to customers
Conga Composer a Salesforce NO 1 Document Generation And Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like Conga Document Generation because it supports
-Multiple document formats like word, Pdf , ppt , excel etc.
- Automations like activity creation, output with desired file name, org wide email addresses, email cc and Bcc,.
- multiple delivery methods like emails, downloads etc.
- Integrations with Google Drive, and Box to store documents online.
- Multiple e-Sign tools like Conga sign, Docu Sign and Adobe sign etc.
- Multiple email users as recepients, Baxckground modes.
- Bulk automation to send documents in Batches through an add-on as Conga Batch.
-It can automate using salesforce flows by through Conga Trigger Add-on.
-integrate with Conga contracts for salesforce for document merge and automations.

No such functionality or drawback to dislike Conga Composer.

Conga Document Generation solving the following issues which benefit from reducing manual corrections and time as
-it supports automatic field date merging from salesforce in the document.
-it creates activity, file attachments to related records when the document is sent.
-It can operate in Batches and reduce the number of clicks.
-It Can operate on salesforce flow to trigger document generation and reduce the clicks.
-It can interate with multiple tools like Google drive, Box to store data outside salesforce system.
-It can Integrate with E-sign tools to send for E-signature and maintain Signed documents in salesforce.

Documentation is good but it is incomplete, we need more technical cases, and all functionalities

Tool is not very accurate and consistent so it gives error lots of times

Easy to manage and update if we know how to do them
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation needs to be improved as there are many areas where no much examples or videos are updated and some limitations are not even explained properly and all youtube videos are outdated

not much to dislike. Takes some time to get used to but once you figure out how to use the software it works great

quickly generating the document based on SF data is the best feature Conga has
Good but needs work
What do you like best about the product?
It is a live document that allows multiple team members to work on it at once. It cuts our work in half by pulling in information from Salesforce. There is nothing else like this on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has been little improvement made to the actual program. The support service is not well-versed in the issues and the bugs that pop up

It allows us to get proposal decks out the door fast. We can track who is looking at the documents and how much time they are spending on each page.
Conga does exactly what it's supposed to do, but configuration was a hassle initially

There are some limitations with parameters and once again setting up conga with salesforce was difficult because of the lack of error messages
