Cannot get a hold of anyone to get our product fixed
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer has a multitude of solutions and can do nearly everything we need to it do. We cannot get ahold of anyone to help us get from point A to point B however.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a company we found it near impossible to get the resources we need to make the tool do what we need it to do. We have been waiting for over 6 weeks to hear back on a simple IT ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a simple export and we can't get it to work correctly. So as it stands right now, we are not getting much benefit.

Intelligent Document Generation for your Salesforce Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Conga is very customizable. The ability to create complex document generation solutions that integrate well and save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve and support could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generate complex documents that are tailored to the opportunity and don't require editing after the fact. Conditional text, emailing copies, attaching to records. Lots of features.
Conga Composer has made a huge impact on improving the efficiency of our company.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate document creation for long legal documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started was a learning curve but well worth it!

Conga Composer helps us deliver documents to our clients much faster than creating them from scratch.
If you have Salesforce CRM/SteelBrick CPQ get Conga Composer
What do you like best about the product?
Intergrates great with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ. Very customizable and can do just about anything you would need from a CLM tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is through 3rd party. There is not alot of information or communcation on outages. Little things can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contracts, pricing templates and SOW's templates.
Conga Composer has been a great fit
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer helped solve a problem simply and effectively with very little implementation time. It's been easy to use and train our sales team to use. It has drastically reduced errors on our contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across any real downsides. I often remind our internal teams that Conga's only limitation is that it's relying on accurate and complete data from Salesforce so if something isn't working right, we have to go back and look at the source which is salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use a shared Google doc to create our order forms and every sales person would take creative liberties or re-work contract language that we actually have standardized or they would copy an older version. Now, I control the standard language and product descriptions and we have more uniformity. We also have improved accuracy and less typos since the information is being driven from Salesforce.

Efficient, user-friendly software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Conga is so versatile and easy to use. I've used it to build many in depth reports and the ability to filter and create unique queries is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to track the solution as to where a specific query is being used. Or, if I'm looking to delete a field, it doesn't ultimately update in my query once I do make a change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga is helping us in terms of reports. We have many different reports that we have moved to the Conga platform due to the high level of filtering and ease of being able to run/export the report(s). It's extremely helpful to have pass through filters too - so we can have one high level report with many different pass through filters, which makes my life way easier when trying to pull the same report 10 different ways.
Great Solution for our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
We use Conga Batch to generate mailed letters to prospective students and it's nice that any Salesforce user can view the letters along with the dynamic content we've sent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve when setting up your Conga solutions. We used to use Conga Mail Merge which was very easy to use but I believe there are a significant number of customizations you get with the updated system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have the ability to customizing documents just as you would through Word or a PDF. Other doc gen systems we've used have formatting outside of Word and it's a challenge to get these other formats to work with typical microsoft suite programs.
Would not recommend Conga Sign.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration and it being native to Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
This product is extremely difficult to use. We were sold on this product under the assumption it could do everything that Adobe can do, which it cannot. Users of this product described it as being clunky, disorganized, confusing and "spammy" looking. The obnoxious amount of emails it sends when a document is out for signature is overwhelming. In addition, configuring ANY custom write back tag is NOT easy. There are hardly any setup guides to help with a Salesforce specific organization. Conga Support cannot help if there is a need to create a custom merge field. There are limitations to optional or required write back tags and there is no in between. The amount of time to get up and running from date of purchase was almost a year - inexcusable and unacceptable. Sales team is difficult to get ahold of and goes days, up to weeks to get a response.

Conga for Document generation
What do you like best about the product?
The conga composer is very easy to integrate and implement. There is a lot of customization and features that can be used according to the requirement. The customer support for the technical issues is really helpful if you are stuck at something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the conga documentation is not very detailed, and conga community support is very limited. Using conga queries is a bit tricky, I cannot navigate in the Query UI through fields of the related objects (nested query) to get the data I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a lot of documents that needs to be generated and emailed my our client on the daily basis. Conga composer is very helpful in that scenario.
