Worked wonders for us!

What do you like best about the product?
A few years ago were being hit really hard by malicious bots that were slowing down and even crashing our website and ERP system, griding our day to day business to a halt. After evaluating multiple solutions, DataDome stood out due to how quickly they adapt to new threats and their real-time protection. The peace of mind we’ve gained knowing they are constantly monitoring bot traffic has been a huge benefit. I also appreciate that their dashboard gives clear visibility into what’s being blocked and why. Overall, the product has been extremely effective and reliable for us and we remain a customer 4 years on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is the cost, it’s definitely on the expensive side, especially for smaller teams and businesses but for us it was worth it. While support is helpful and thorough when they respond, the turnaround time can sometimes take a couple of days though you can escalate. Also, the initial setup required developer involvement, as integration wasn’t as plug-and-play for us. Once it’s up and running, it works well, but the onboarding process could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome protects us from malicious bot traffic that was previously overwhelming our infrastructure. Before implementing DataDome, we experienced repeated site slowdowns and even downtime caused by automated attacks targeting our website and ERP system. The solution has significantly reduced bot-related disruptions, improved our site performance, and allowed our team to focus on real customer traffic instead of managing constant threats. Knowing the platform is continually updated with the latest threat intelligence gives us confidence that we’re staying ahead of evolving attacks.

Effortless Integration and Top-Notch Security, Minor Dashboard Lag

What do you like best about the product?
It’s incredibly easy to integrate with your infrastructure, you can have it up and running in just a few minutes. Since we started using DataDome, we’ve stopped seeing various attacks on our infrastructure. It’s probably the best solution available right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren’t many issues to mention. The dashboard can occasionally experience some lag, but we’ve observed consistent improvements over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It definitely helps with DDoS attacks, but the most important aspect is its effectiveness in mitigating other threats such as credential stuffing and content scraping even when facing massive volumes of requests from thousands of IP addresses.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome is very easy to use and provides strong protection against bots and DDoS attacks.
The dashboard is clear and detailed, making it simple to understand traffic patterns.
It also integrates well with AWS CloudFront and Lambda@Edge, and the daily or weekly reports are very helpful for quick monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is quite expensive, especially for high-traffic sites.
We need to limit which requests are sent to DataDome to control costs, focusing only on critical endpoints.
More flexible pricing or built-in traffic filtering would be a big improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome protects our website from malicious bots and DDoS attacks, keeping the service stable.
It automatically filters bad traffic, which saves us a lot of time on manual monitoring and maintenance.

What do you like best about the product?
Datadome has proven to be an effective solution for bot prevention. One of the aspects we value most is its clear and intuitive user interface, which simplifies daily management tasks. The web interface enhances our ability to analyze traffic by providing detailed visibility into requests, allowing us to quickly detect and address new patterns of bot activity. Since implementing Datadome, we have experienced a significant decrease in false positives when blocking legitimate users, leading to a better user experience and less strain on our support team. Additionally, the support team stands out for being highly responsive, knowledgeable, and always available whenever we require assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Datadome is not a budget-friendly option, and I found the integration process to be rather challenging, taking a considerable amount of time to finish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we faced numerous ATO attacks and our users often had a frustrating experience, as our old solutions would just block access entirely. Since switching to Datadome, we’re able to present challenges instead, allowing genuine customers to prove themselves and continue using our services without being unfairly blocked.

What do you like best about the product?
Once everything is integrated, it can be done from the panel. There are multiple forms of integration and the Datadome team is open to making corrections and modifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks native integration with Palo Alto, which I consider a significant disadvantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to stop DDOS attacks in a centralized manner, offering an overview of all traffic to facilitate monitoring. The query interface is very intuitive and there is abundant documentation available for integrations.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has been our trusted security partner for over 5 years, and what truly sets them apart is their support team—they genuinely feel like an extension of our engineering team. Their 24/7 SOC support and responsiveness during investigations has been exceptional. The solution is essentially "set it and forget it"—it scales beautifully as we expand into new markets and handles our peak gifting periods (holidays, end of financial year) without any issues. The low false positive rate means our legitimate high-volume B2B customers sending thousands of corporate gifts experience zero friction, which is critical for our business model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup required some fine-tuning to optimize for our specific traffic patterns, but the DataDome team was hands-on throughout. That's really the only minor point—overall it's been an excellent partnership.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has significantly reduced bot attacks, which in turn has minimized the need for reactive firefighting by our operations team. The implementation process was smooth, and the intuitive dashboards offer clear visibility into traffic patterns and attack types. Additionally, the TAM and support teams are highly responsive and a pleasure to work with, making the overall experience seamless and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While DataDome offers strong protection overall, there’s room for improvement in certain areas—particularly the mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, which I found challenging to implement. Enhanced documentation or streamlined integration would greatly improve the developer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has proven to be a reliable, innovation-oriented partner. One of its major strengths is the responsiveness and expertise of its support team. Whether for day-to-day questions or more strategic discussions, the team is always available and provides precise, actionable answers—a real asset in a demanding digital environment.
Another differentiator is the regularity of updates and the transparency of their roadmap. DataDome frequently delivers enhancements to its platform and shares a detailed annual roadmap, offering solid visibility into upcoming developments and making our own planning easier.
Finally, the user interface is both intuitive and highly customizable. It strikes an excellent balance between ease of use and rich functionality, enabling quick onboarding while meeting the specific needs of advanced users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requirement to install a module at the Load Balancer level can complicate deployment in certain architectures. A more flexible approach here could ease adoption in varied technical contexts.
Additionally, the log retention period cannot be modified. The ability to customize this retention would be a real plus for meeting compliance or operational requirements specific to each organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It mostly protects us from crawlers, and from hackers that try to automate attacks on our websites.

Clear, reliable, and effective security solution

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome gives us peace of mind, and we appreciate having an ad hoc Security Operations Center team ready to support 24/7. It’s very easy to use, low-touch once implemented, and it delivers on what it promises. We’ve found the reporting and protection much clearer and more effective than our previous bot protection solution. Most importantly, it hit our target false positive rate, which was a big success factor for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback was the implementation process, which took longer than expected due to our websites being PWAs / using service workers. Once set up, however, the day-to-day operation has been smooth and requires very little ongoing effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome protects our ecommerce platform from malicious bots, credential stuffing, and scraping attempts that previously impacted performance and customer experience. By filtering out bad traffic, we’ve reduced strain on our infrastructure, improved site reliability, and ensured that genuine customers can shop without disruption.
