A magic tool which can convert anything into video!
What do you like best about the product?
I am really happy with this product! It's such a time saver! I had a video that was over 1 hour long and I wanted to make a short video of the most important information in the video. This tool allowed me to easily make a short, 5-minute video within minutes. now I can also easily convert my blogs/articles, scripts & images into a quality video. Brand settings is great, I can set all my intros, outros, fonts & colors to repeatedly use in my videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Text formating, should have more options
Intro & outro templates are very basic
Downloading a video takes significant time, it should be reduced
Voiceovers are not human-like, they sound robotic

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me convert my long videos into short highlights within minutes which saves me a lot of time and effort, It also helps me edit my course videos.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am not a video creator but I have to say that I am really impressed with this software. With the ability to quickly transcribe lengthy videos, this is a great tool for anyone who has to create videos.
Good SaaS that need some improvements to be great
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Descript-style "edit video by editing its transcript" function. Of all the 4 tools in the SaaS, this one is the most useful. This brings me to the transcription limits, which are pretty generous compared to offers from other software in this field. This feature is the primary time-saver when editing dialogue-heavy clips. Simply look at the transcripts at a glance and I know what to remove. This saves me from scrolling through the timeline to find what I need to edit out.
The transcripts are a great bonus for me as we sometimes need to have subtitles. Although, we mainly need a translated subtitle, and there are no reliable auto-translators right now. Still helpful in the occasions where we need to get transcripts. (Which we did on a recent project: export transcript and used a TTS program to read the transcript).

What do you dislike about the product?
The other features need a lot more work. AI-to-video (from article url or text) often select static images from its stock library OR chooses unrelated image/footage. I had to replace almost every single asset to make the output usable. This completely defeats the purpose of an AI-generated video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to use this to speed up my video workflow when it comes to dialogue-heavy video editing and also wanted to get some quick short video clips from the AI tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are similar online SaaS offerings out there like Wave.video and InVideo that do similar things to Pictory. In my opinion, Pictory does some things better, but not everything. I think the text/title templates are better in Pictory with auto-highlighted keywords and better-looking desgins (Wave's titles are way too big). It is also the only one with transcript-based editing, and audio file syncing. Audio sync is important because the AI text-to-speech in these apps are terrible. I import AI voices from outside sources so the syncing is a great feature.
The competitors do a lot more, and I think they are better for more general editing. They are more robust and allow more controls in the editing timeline; they are more similar to traditional editing software. But Pictory seems to be trying to bring a different workflow that is faster in exchange of some of the controls.

Easy tool to create social media video without any toughness
What do you like best about the product?
t was easy to make the long content into a short video. The video quality was too high. Production of the video also in less than 6 minutes. This way we can save a lot of time. Transcriptions are working so well on this platform. I edit videos daily, and this made my all days wonderful. Thanks for the whole team. However, the ompany roadmap looks so promising, and grabbing Pictory now is a good investment in existing features, and this defiently had a bright future. There are also the other sections of creating videos, which to be honest I didn't give a try, but have had a play around with.
What do you dislike about the product?
All was good but one thing I need to say that is to improve the text styling otherwise overall a good deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Defiently a suggesting tool for all marketing people. You don't know how much time you can save on this. This has been one of the amazing tools I have. If you produce long-form of video or even want a better way to edit video vlogs quickly.
Transcribe video very easy
What do you like best about the product?
We just started with YouTube and podcasting. Pictory provides transcribe features very well. Really accurate compared to others. Also, it's very user friendly. We have some people in our team who are not "tech" person and Pictory can be used on 3 clicks max. Just upload a video or text then transcribe and that's it. Upload it to YouTube and done. Published. No more headaches. Also, voice over. You can even upload or record your voice for a selected video. Also missing some integrations. There is no option to publish a video directly via native integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fetching and downloading a video takes a lot of time. Normally about 30 min. - 1h. This is quite a lot. Also, some voices sound very robotic. I prefer to use our natural voice rather than Pictory voices because when you are listening to it it's honestly like a robot. Also, they could add more languages than English. Multiple brands would be also great. We have 4 companies and we can manage 1 brand under 1 account. Also, more options for editing a video would great too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to transcribe features mostly. Pictory helps us transcribe our video, add subtitles and publish at our eCom site or YouTube. We mostly use Pictory for our courses in the fitness industry. People who don't speak English can easily watch it and learn.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are more relatively polished tools but Pictory does 1 thing very well. Transcribing a video. For English people, it's really no brainer. Very easy to use. You can upload or record your voice or sound in the background. If they add more languages Pictory would be such a good tool.
Can be a great video software
What do you like best about the product?
From the time VIdnami is gone from my life, I have been looking for an alternative, I see pictory is something (which if they keep doing the good work) has the potential to become peoples go to; Please read the following to make a choice
PROs:
Accuracy of speech to text is great.
Filler words removal
Captions burn in option
10 hours transcription for tier 1 and so on
text to video is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
CONs:
in ability to correct a whole sentence or paragraph, you have to go word by word (sometimes when it catches multiple words wrong, its better to write a whole sentence and feed it there instead of doing one by one)
their text to speech is not that great yet.
inability to change the duration of the scenes
no animations or stylings for captions. (it will be a super creative idea if you guys can add animations or styling to captions believe me)

I am doing professional transcription services and subtitling, so it helps me in it.
Converting my blog posts into engaging videos
What do you like best about the product?
I can copy and paste a URL into Pictory, and convert regular text into short informative videos without spending tons of valuable time in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some languages like Spanish are still under development, but the roadmap looks promising, so this is a temporary pain that will be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can repurpose existing content into video, with subtitles and multilingual capabilities. It saves me hours and hours of work, and it´s making a difference in the way my web visitors interact with content and convert.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ideal if you´re looking to repurpose existing content or generate new video content from scratch.
Create videos in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
The main reason I purchased Pictory was to repurpose my written content into video. I really enjoy using their "text-to-video" feature, especially as you can upload your own images and even record your own voice over. The tool is intuitive to use and I know it will get even better over time. The ability to edit video by editing text --- wow, this is incredible! Highly recommend if you want a quick, easy way to use more video in your content creation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
- sometimes the images it chose to match the text was not quite ideal. I just swapped those out for different images.
- would love to see more images/videos added to the library
- looking forward to the ability to change the font of the captions to match my brand fonts (currently there is only one default font available)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit I've experienced thus far is the ability to repurpose written content - from blog snippets to Instagram captions - into short videos for primarily Instagram stories but you can also use it for YouTube, LinkedIn and more. You spend so much time writing blogs and captions, so why not extend the lifetime of your written content by creating videos? That's is where the attention is at.
An easiest way to edit and capture content
What do you like best about the product?
The one I like the most is the Article the video content because it extracts the content and turns it into a video, full control on making video, text, scene, can select any genre by simply clicking on the editor’s page
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there's nothing to dislike about the software because it covers what I need
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing the true message of an article or content. I realized that this software covers that for me.
Pictory: Video creation Monster that blends Vidnami's intuitive UX & Descript's media editing power
What do you like best about the product?
Pictory is a video creation powerhouse that combines Vidnami's intuitive user experience and Descript's powerful media editing capabilities in an easy-to-use, seamless platform.
Yes! The transcription function alone is worth the money, not to mention all of the other features. I can't imagine how much time it would have saved me if I had this feature SAAS I first started my work projects involving transcription. I love the multi-language transcription function on this software.
Below are more features that I enjoy :
♥ Highlights automatically identify the most important segments of your video
♥ 1 click removal of filler words and phrases
♥ Media / B Roll Library
♥ I found it easy to use. It does a good job of saving time, and the pricing is reasonable.
♥ Texts (Article, blog posts, press releases…) to videos
♥ Subtitling, Trimming, and more
♥ Unlimited projects and Shutterstock videos and images stocks
♥ Voiceover-to-Video and much much more coming

What do you dislike about the product?
I love the tool. It's a very promising one indeed ad there’s no single doubt about that. Despite this, AI isn't quite at its best when it comes to selecting relevant texts for summaries or relevant images and clips for scenes.
Currently, text-to-speech functionality is limited. It would be awesome if the platform was integrated with better text-to-speech platforms, such as Wellsaid Labs and Lovo Studio
It would be a major Plus to have the following features implemented:
♥ The ability to import a voiceover that covers all slides rather than one per slide.
♥ Additional fonts and the ability to add custom fonts
♥ Transcription Module having the capability to access YouTube content in addition to the regular video uploads.
♥ The ability to create clips from highlights in each project.
♥ Organize projects and upload files in folders

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a great tool for business owners who want to create video content, but don't have the time or budget to do so. With Pictory, I can easily create professional videos that will not only provide my customers with a quality product, but also increase my brand awareness and reach. The editing tools are easy and quick to use, and I love the transcription function which allows me to quickly and easily record my thoughts and share them with my audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When it comes to creating video content, many people lack the time. A simple solution is available to ease the process for would-be video creators. This app helps you create high quality videos that require little editing and are easily accessible with just a few clicks of the mouse.
A Vidnami REPLACEMENT is finally here!
What do you like best about the product?
Pictory UI is very intuitive. I was able to quickly jump in and use the Article to Video module for my existing blog posts. The Ai b-roll video selection isn't the best but the ability to perform a refined search for a replacement video was easy.
The additional tweaking necessary to create a usable video still requires less time than having to manually go to a stock video website, download the asset, then import to a video editing program, and then match it with a specific sentence.
The edit videos with voice using text feature is fantastic. The ability to quickly edit out all the filler words is fantastic. The cut is a little abrupt, but it's better than hearing the filler word. I was also able to trim down an existing video asset to include only highlights at record time. Before, I had to remember certain sections of the video to cut. Now, I can quickly skim through the script and highlight the key talking points in the video and voilà, done and done. I love it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to use pre-recorded voiceover for all slides. (I currently have to use another text to speech software for each slide) this just takes too long. I ended up just using Pictory text to speech voice out of frustration. At least there is one usable voice that doesn't sound too robotic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem Pictory solves was the amount of time wasted having to first identify the main keywords of my blog post and then locate videos in stock websites that match the keywords. I will then have to copy the content from my blog post into a text to speech SaaS and then export to my computer and import to Davinci resolve to a timeline. I will then have to upload the stock videos to Davinci Resolve and then trim to match the specific sentence. The entire process takes almost an hour. Although, with Pictory, the process takes less than 20 minutes tops.
