A single pane of glass for all your sophos products
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos has a great number of modules. With sophoscentral you can see all of them in a single place. They are constantly releasing new modules and they integrate seamlessly with the portal. You can do just about any administrative action with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the modules aren't integrated as seamlessly as others. The style changes and some of the options get buried. In addition, the fact that some options you have to visit other panes to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple types of security products in a single place thus allowing for there to be only a single login to see the security posture of the entire organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Support is not good and product not user frendly when compare to Palo ALto/Fortigate
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issues have been lengthy support ticket response time and unknowledgeable/scripted support responses, where resolution isnt discovered until escalated to the highest level and the solution shouldve been simple to spot from the lowest level. support can be very slow, the product can be costly, the dashboard doesnt provide as much info as desired
Sophos is a lifesaver
What do you like best about the product?
With Windows 11 requirement for TPM we found that we needed better security. Sophos provided that security with endpoint encryption and a more robust antivirus than webroot
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to say about Sophos that could be considered unhelpful. I guess some of the false positives for endpoint protection was annoying but it was also expected with any new system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos is solving the device encryption that we have needed. In the Mental Healthcare industry we have to adhere to HIPAA compliance and this easily meets those needs
Sophos Intercept X - Impressed!
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos is easy to manage from Central console. Any updates that Sophos has to push out are done through Central and they have not caused any of my customers downtime. My Sales rep is amazing as he is always there for whatever I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos AV for Windows has all of the features while Linux does not. When Sophos requires a reboot, the console does't flag you and the report for this is not valid. When I reach out to support, I spend a lot of my time explaining the product to support and how it should work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Central allows me to manage all the AV for my 1200+ cloud-hosted customers in one central location. When alerts on my servers happen, I also receive an email. If I haven't login to Sophos Central to check the warnings, I can ensure that I do by seeing the emails.
Sophos is a Great AntiVirus for VMware vCenter, ESXi, and Horizon
What do you like best about the product?
I like the options that Sophos has available. You can install it at the hypervisor level or on each server and desktop. You can also choose to do a combination of the two. Everything is then monitored from a single location in the Sophos Central web portal. The notifications are also well done in the portal and sending emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times when updates did not install correctly, which leaves a device unprotected. The device update is usually easily fixed, and a notification is sent that a device has an issue. It would still be nice to have an automated process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sophos to protect our network's Windows devices, servers and desktops. There are lots of policies that can be set to help keep everything safe that goes beyond just daily or real-time scanning. You can block websites, email address, and most importantly, applications.
Easy to use, just needs a mobile app.
What do you like best about the product?
Centralized platform that is easily accessible to both end users and partners managing on behalf of end users. I like to ability to quickly switch between platforms/products (ie ZTNA to Firewall to MDM)
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit clunky to switch from product to product. Takes it's time getting from one page to the next. Would really like the ability to manage multiple firewall clients/groups at the same time without needing to close down one end users firewall platform just to open up another end users firewall platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized management platform for all things Sophos. No need to log in to individual devices and no need to be on-site, complete visibility and remote access to all devices without the need for cumbersome/slow VPN's, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool, with a simple UI, and a great number of features. You can manage different tools from the same panel: antivirus, firewall, switches. No onprem installation needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really I don't see downsides, it is a good tool. Maybe, xdr may be difficult to understand, and in some screens, I find an excess of information. Always, it could be cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidate the management of security tools in only one panel. Good alerting and reporting tools. No installations, and easy updates . Sophos is giving more and more features.
Great Software; but the world's worst support
What do you like best about the product?
Most of the time the software works very well for endpoint protection and A/V use
What do you dislike about the product?
If something goes wrong, it is virtually impossible to get support immediately when you need it. If they would simply allow direct telephone connection to a qualified support agent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you need help, you can't get it. All they supply is a series of nearly useless KB articles that are often wrong.
Sophos is good but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
Central location for all endpoints and somewhat easy product changes
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface sometimes errors out for no reason. When contacting support about it they seem to "run a sync" and it still doesn't fix it most times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central location for all of our AV management.
Performance impact with Sophos endpoint protection.
What do you like best about the product?
The portal is working great. A lot of useful and easy-to-understand settings. Nice reportings and alerting posebility's.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main reason why we switched to Webroot is performance problems on the endpoints. Startup time went from no antivirus to Sophos endpoint protection from 36 seconds to more than 1 minute30. Customers complained.

I have a good MSP program.
