What do you like best about the product?
Developer Portal with clear technical documentation. Ease of use, ease of implementation and great customer support

Recent re-branding from Mindsphere to Insights hub waa not smooth and caused confusion, especailly related to the number of features

Energy consumptions of brewing machines which helps with cost reduction and efficiency improvements

What do you like best about the product?
That is Saas, easy to implement and that depending on the needs of the business you can add the apps/functionalities needed

The user interface is not as fast or responsive as you see in other webapps, sometimes you need to wait for the information to refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the OEE module, it is giving us real time information of what is happening on the shopfloor, now we don't need to depend on the operator or supervisor to report downtime, production or quality issues, we can get the information directly from the PLCs and see it in the platform.
With predictive maintenance we are seeing the trends in the motors of the equipments, and it gives us a "prediction" of when an asset is going to fail, so that we can be prepared and schedule some time to fix the issues before it is a cathastrophic failure.

What do you like best about the product?
I love insights hub more than life itself. Jk, Insights hub is one of the best framework as far as IoT is concerned, highly adaptable to our custom use cases. It has aided in providing us with plenty of metrics of our systems performance. At the end of the day, providing value is a multitude of spaces, including energy consumption, mainteenance, and system performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the compute cost for certain tools is dispropotionate to their in house counterparts. But, I come from smaller start up where budget is an issue, if I was not optmizing for fiscal expense then those respective tools work great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As previosuly mentioned it has helped aid in optimizing various components of our systems, including but not limited to energy, maintenance, and end product accuracy.

What do you like best about the product?
It does good job of allowing us to easily read tons of complex data. Even without writing code there are ways to digest and trend data.
What do you dislike about the product?
When looking at a data plot in the "Monitor" app, the raw vs. auto vs. aggregate view often leaves out important information. It would be nice if the plot could show the raw data plot over a longer time window. The aggregate view can leave out important spikes that are helpful in diagnosing an event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having issues with our fan bearings. They are failing prematurely. With insights hub, we can record and trend vibration data to attempt to predict what fan bearing will fail next.
We are also using it to record and analyze power data, in hopes of reducing the cost of our product!

The Breadth of coverage of for asset monitoring to drive efficiency and predictive quality insights
