The best platform for video content editors
What do you like best about the product?
Is a very easy to use tool that allows me to communicate with my clients and make corrections to the videos in a more efficient way, as well as allowing me to organize all the content in a very easy way. The best thing is that they have a mobile application where I can receive all my notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there really isn't anything specific that I don't like about Air. I think they could add a calendar, so you can assign each video to a specific day and keep an order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
air has helped me in communicating with clients, many times they wanted changes in specific parts and they had to put it in another page of notes, but with air I know the exact part of the correction.
Perfect for asset management
What do you like best about the product?
Air has been very helpful to us in managing our assets in the creative process. We used to use Google Drive before and it was frustrating to find the assets. With Air you can just easily find the assets through the search option.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that the site is a little slow in processing uploaded assets. It takes time for the files to be reflected to the board. But overall, I think its a good tool for an agency to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing assets and helping us in the creative process especially in getting feedback and approval from Clients . Everything is easily searchable now especially when its already tagged.
For agencies with larger clients, Air is a fantastic asset delivery and management solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Air is designed around a clear and simple-to-use user interface, so getting on-boarded is incredibly quick. The free AI tagging of images in photos is essential and the video annotations give Frame.io a run for their money.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sync on the desktop app is still a little inconsistent with duplicate files or files orphaned from boards. That said, it's worth continuing to use and the web app is pretty much flawless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have thousands of video and image assets which we store for our clients who need to access them quickly. Our clients expect a tool that works like a consumer product - think Shutterstock or Frame.io - and for the most part, Air does. Their access controls allow us to work with a wide group of clients and their support has been surprisingly reponsive.
A great, affordable DAM
What do you like best about the product?
Air offers many of the features larger DAMs offer at a fraction of the cost. The taxonmy-based (i.e. keywords and tags) sorting rather than a heirarchy (i.e. folders) makes find needed files very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Air doesn't have any official options for tasks or assigning files to a user. The image previews can also be lossy, requiring users to download to get a full preview. However, these are fairly minor issues that we've worked out in our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the marketing department I work in, our files were scattered across a server. Air allowed us to consolidate our digital assets, and finding the files we need is easy with numerous tagging, sorting, and search options.
Great interface that's easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Waaaaay easier than Dropbox, I find the navigation much smoother, love that you can search images by key word too. Aboslutely perfect tool for our marketing and design team. It's clear it's been made with usabilty in mind and really caters to what it's auidence is after.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tagging of images is a little painful. Having the ability to copy and paste a group of tags across multiple images would be a big improvement and would save time too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one accesible spot is a big help. Our company creates a lot content every month, and being able to manage, organize and share these assets with everyone we need so easily is a game changer.
AIR delivered on every promise!
What do you like best about the product?
Air is very intuitive and easy to use. We were able to add team members seamlessly. The platform makes it very easy to share digital assets with various levels of protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they do provide a fair amount of storage space, upgrading to more space can be cost-prohibitive. It would be great if there was a way to tag entire boards, without having to highlight the images within.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a nonprofit/sleepaway camp that uploads hundreds of images a day during the summer. These photos need to be sorted and tagged for easy use during the off-season. We also host many fundraising events at which we collect content from attendees. AIR has been very easy to integrate our process and daunting tasks have become incredibly easy to manage. Everyone on our team loves working with AIR!
Air Streamlined and Organized our Asset Management Processes In Ways We Couldn't Even Have Imagined!
What do you like best about the product?
With Air, our assets are all in one place. It is now easy to locate, sort through, and share assets for all of our communications needs. It has made working with outside photo and video vendors much easier, and it has made sharing assets with other departments within our organization more streamlined. As a nonprofit, we tell the story of our work through our assets, and Air has made us a more efficient, organized team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small functions that I'd like to see updated in future versions of Air, including the ability to create more robust filters and share out one link for uploads and downloads without creating a guest account. I would also like to see more resources about how to set up protocols for asset management for someone new to the platform. But overall Air meets all of our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Air, our assets were stored in many different platforms. We had to rely on institutional memory to know where a particular asset was located. Now all of our assets are in one place and easy to categorize, find, and use.
Better than Dropbox for visual assets
What do you like best about the product?
We switched from Dropbox to Air to manage our marketing video + image assets earlier this year -- and it's been a positive switch for everyone on our team.
We're a fairly visual team, so just from usability standpoint it's been much easier to be able to identify assets. Plus we've implemented robust tagging using their system to help categorize every asset we have which has been a game changer.
Another great thing is that we use the video comment & feedback tool to replace our frame.io subscription, so that saved us too.
There's a few minor things I dislike, but I'm sure they'll be improved over time. Overall would recommend!

What do you dislike about the product?
I often need to download many video assets at a time from the same folder. When you do this there is this really slow zipping process that needs to happen and sometimes you have to refresh your screen. It's honestly painfully slow compared to Dropbox, so I really hope they speed that up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our digital assets organized and properly tagged.
Air makes file sharing/manegement as easy as breathing.
What do you like best about the product?
Air is easy for clients to use. And I do mean EASY. As an Agency, we work with all kinds of clients. Some are not as tech savvy as others. And everyone is able to navigate their files in Air.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any SaaS, there's a bit of a learning curve. Fortunately, this is mostly on the admin side. Understanding the terminology and how everything works takes some time. But it's time well spent!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Let me tell you how we use Air so you understand its benefit to us. We're a digital marketing agency. So we make lots of assets for our clients. Business card designs, digital ads, videos, etc. In the past, we'd used Google Drive to share these assets. Shared Drives in Google drive made this a little easier, but still somewhat of a nightmare from a management standpoint. And not a great solution for the client, either.
Air solves both of these issues. Clients get a friendly, visually-based UI to browse their assets and quickly find what they're looking for. We get a solution that makes it easy to manage who has access and what they have access to.
It isn't a perfect solution, but it's pretty darned good!!

Great for nonprofits!
What do you like best about the product?
My small marketing team loves the way Air helps us organize, tag, and credit photos before sharing on social media. It's an excellent tool in our remote-work arsenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who works largely on Google Drive, I'd prefer an indexing system similar to google drive (with folder stacking, etc) as opposed to the sidebar of items, drop-down style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's enabling our team to spend less time digging through years and years of trip-related photo dumps, and instead spend more time creating meaningful content across our channels.
