Great DAM product for the price
What do you like best about the product?
We didn’t need a ton of bells and whistles with our asset manager. We needed a place to simply house data and provide an easy search platform. Air does exactly that
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s an intuitive platform but with our package we only got one training session. We were so cautious about that one session that we taught ourselves the platform and never used it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had assets on dozens of drives and people in dozens of locations all looking to access the same footage. The asset manager provides an easy solution for this.
Air.inc is changing the game for how we manage creative assets
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used a number of digital asset management tools over the years, and nothing comes close to the experience Air offers. The interface is clean, intuitive, and actually enjoyable to use (a rarity in this category!). One of my favorite features is the ability to stack versions of files, which makes keeping track of updates seamless and ensures we're always working from the latest version.
The flexibility is incredibly beneficial too. You can create custom views to order assets exactly how you want, and assets can live within multiple "boards" without duplicating files—incredibly useful for keeping things organized. I also love how easy it is to share boards externally with custom permissions. Whether you want someone to just view, download, or leave comments, it's all incredibly simple to control.
Speaking of comments, the ability to leave annotations—on everything from static assets to videos (with time-stamped feedback!)—has made collaboration so much more efficient. Air has become a central hub for our team, and I can’t imagine going back to anything else.
If you work with a lot of content or creative assets, this tool is a no-brainer.

What do you dislike about the product?
There really is nothing I "dislike". If I could improve any aspect, it would be the ability to more easily add and edit custom fields, and choose custom colors for tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air solves the chaos of managing creative assets across teams and tools. No more digging through cluttered folders, versioning nightmares, or duplicate files eating up precious storage. With Air, everything is organized, easily searchable, and visually intuitive. It streamlines collaboration, keeps feedback clear, and makes sharing assets externally effortless. Faster workflows, fewer mistakes, and way more time spent actually creating—not managing files.
Air < Google Photos
What do you like best about the product?
From external collaboration to one centralized way to process content intake, Air has taken a multi-stop, often messy process and made it incredibly simple!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to have the same asset exist in multiple boards without having to copy or move an asset. To offset this, we can created a process for tagging/custom fields use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User experience! We were using Google Drive storage for our DAM previously and it became incredibly messy and cumbersome for the size of our team. Now, we can control the quality of images, the naming conventions, tags/custom fields etc. to make it easy for users to find what they are looking for.
Overall Positive
What do you like best about the product?
Air makes it easy to organize files - I love being able to set a certain viewing sorting structure, and save that "view" for the next time I'm in that particular board. This has been helpful on many occasions when needing to quickly find files by their names in certain orders.
It's also great to have the ability to generate upload links when working with independent contractors, that gives them access to a particular board/sub-board that ONLY let's them upload - this secure link gives me and the team peace of mind about collaborating with our independent contractors.

What do you dislike about the product?
With the upload links that are shared with independent contractors, the feedback we often receive is that they can't see what they have uploaded once they submit, so in an instance where they may have missed uploading files, they can't reconcile that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air allows us to keep all of our content in one platform - we can work with independent contractors and send them links to directly upload to boards and subboards, and also share those boards with our clients. It's nice for everything to be in one place. We share boards with photos, as well as video edits where clients can directly share their feedback within the platform, which is great!
Stop storing your assets in a NAS/Google Drive like an animal!
What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding a new client is always a nightmare because I need to try to figure out how they organize files and folders. And vice-versa. Stop the insanity! With a DMS like air, you can easily implement a system of tags and projects that make it stupid easy to find what you are looking for. Air is great. Cost-effective and really easy to use. And responsiveness from developer is best in class.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I have found. Really happy with them for last 2 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing all of our digital assets.
The perfect tool for our team
What do you like best about the product?
Air makes it incredibly easy to upload and organize our team’s assets. The ability to generate public links for files simplifies sharing both internally and externally. One of the standout features is the seamless feedback interface—it’s intuitive and quick to use, making it easy for stakeholders to request changes or provide comments directly on the assets. This has significantly streamlined our content review process and helped our team collaborate more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the experience has been mostly positive. There could be more advanced permission controls for shared links to better manage access levels, especially for external collaborators. Otherwise, it has fit our workflow very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air has helped us eliminate bottlenecks in our creative workflow. Before using Air, collecting feedback from multiple stakeholders and managing asset versions was time-consuming and fragmented. With Air, we can centralize all our creative files, easily share them using public links, and receive clear, contextual feedback in one place. This has significantly improved our team's productivity and reduced turnaround times on content approvals.

What do you like best about the product?
It's quick and easy to learn nad offer exactly the tools needed to manage and distribute the media content
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very expensive especially the assets download and view tracking is only available in enterprise plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The media management has always been a struggle. To quickly find what's needed with tags and cathegories is a must. Air does this very well including version management.

User Friendly Interface for Asset Library
What do you like best about the product?
It's by far more user friendly, and yes has more capabilities, than most other platforms. I've come into some storage problems with Dropbox. Air is superior.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we got more members under the free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User interface and shareability
