Decent with Data, but Not New Research
What do you like best about the product?
I like the search abilities and the information provided about the technologies companies are using. I also like that (most) contacts have some level of bio information, which can be helpful when cold calling.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main reasons we signed on with DO is the promise to do research on new companies/contacts who are not currently in the system. This promise has not been fulfilled, and it's extremely disappointing. Also disappointing is that they sell it that it's the most up-to-date database in the industry, and yet a lot of contacts we look at haven't been touched or updated in 5+ years. Makes us question the validity of the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a better/stronger pipeline for our inside sales representatives. It does give us contacts at companies with technologies on which we can provide service.

Full of fresh data with accurate contact information and links to profiles.

Nothing- everything is great. Very easy to use and simple to find information. Intuitive.

Finding new customers and reaching out to prospects with outdated contact information.
Solid Prospecting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Out of all the prospecting tools my team employs, I use D.O. about 1/3 of the time, which is definitely high usage. Great resource for extremely accurate phone #s and email addresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally emails bounce, even though they are "verified", but still..this happens very very rarely and not enough to be a huge nuisance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting across an organizations. Getting a clear picture of organization structure across all different departments.
Great tool - needs more focus on installed tech though

Easy to search, and a clearly comprehensive database
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely lacking in the installed technology data. Just showing by company with no context as to which teams / individuals are involved makes using it for prospecting innefficient

ZoomInfo: a great prospecting tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to get direct lines to prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that sometime the information is incorrect when it comes to direct lines or email addresses, but it isn't too often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to locate prospects in my target market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is not a perfect solution but better than most out there.

That I can trust the information in it, you know it has been check and that when there is an issue, it will be fixed quickly

They are missing a few companies that we have tried to target as an organization

Keeping our information accurate and up to date. as well as giving us access to information we didn't have before

More accounts, more groups in the accounts including the OT side of a business.
Zoominfo is the best email finding tool around
What do you like best about the product?
I can find the exact information I need quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data could use a refresh. When it comes to list building, I've found that the system will pull people who no longer work at the companies OR are not located at the company headquarters. Pulling addresses can be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of reaching prospects with our services. We've been able to easily pull contact information and companies based on service area.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember that the best way to pull a list is behind. When zoominfo builds a list for you, it's a good starting place. Make sure to cross check your contact info! Additionally when I build a list I like to pull information from the most recently updated contacts. The software gives you a drop down menu option for how fresh the information is that you're pulling, i.e. updated in the last 6 months, 12 months etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to look up contact information (phone/email) for those missed connections
What do you dislike about the product?
Rarely occurs, but sometimes the only phone number provided for a contact is their company's headquarters line, otherwise it's most often available and correct

Being able to connect with prospects, correcting an incorrect email address when the email bounces back
DiscoverOrg has amazing data
What do you like best about the product?
The information is unbelievable. You know what is going on within a company, when and who is in charge. On top of that, you get their direct line.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the numbers are missing or they don't have all of the people. I will say they have most of them, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need for new prospects or more contact information. They're information is almost unbelievable.

What do you like best about the product?
Our department uses DiscoverOrg to help us identify leads, contacts, and if they are the right fit to contact by our SDRs/SMs. They always verify all of their information. I also like the trigger alerts that can be set up per team member to focus on one particular item at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to find an address or certain person, you might have to do some digging. Other than that, everything is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it when I am trying to verify a chunk of leads to see if they are still with the current company they are working at. It has really helped us see who is a right fit to reach out to.
