Excellent Prospecting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to find contacts within a company, I have found the success rate of the email addresses very high compared to other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it is difficult to find contact details for companies in EMEA
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a useful tool to build prospecting lists, I have found my bounce rate on mail merges to be much lower fro using ZoomInfo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn how to do the salesforce integration as this will improve the speed to make prospect lists

Incredibly powerful tool, not for every B2B application
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, powerful software for Sales Development Reps. Discover accurate contact information and contextual insights for personalized, effective outreach - supplementing inbound and outbound initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization had to discontinue using DiscoverOrg as our ideal customer profile does not allign well with their database. We found contact info was heavy on IT and light on Field Service profiles. This makes sense considering this was how the company originated - I understand they are continually working on this, and expanding quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Validating inbound leads with contextual data, analyzing organizational structures to determine the appropriate contact to include on product demonstrations. Boosting outbound initiatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your ideal customer profile is outside of IT, and non-enterprise, be sure to dig deep on your trial to uncover if the job titles you're after are fully implemented. The support and sales staff are top notch and will work with you in evaluating.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can pull in mass lists at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The accuracy of the contacts is incredibly low. Many contacts have been gone for 10+ years.

Finding leads to build pipeline

Great for volume, not good for quality.

They have one of the better databases of phone numbers for prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI and interface needs an update for sure and better integration with other tools like crm.

Finding contact info for prospective customers.

the breadth of information especially in the deal predict is incredible

sometimes can be slow but for the most part it was pretty speedy to search

business development ie finding the right contacts at the right companies

Easy access to customer data, with plenty of valid emails and phone numbers available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some data is invalid or out of date, and sometimes when typing in a company name I get results that are from different companies

Avoiding gatekeepers, having easier access to my prospects, and having all of the data available in one easy place. We use a custom CRM so there are no integration options so we do a lot of manual entry so flipping through web pages can be difficult

There are a LOT of options out there for prospect info, so don't hesitate to shop around
Zoom and the Add in was key
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo delivers in providing pretty comprehensive contact data. The integration with Salesforce works very well. The beta add-in with LinkedIn delivers direct dials about 50% of the time which is pretty good. This was in the SaaS space for a workforce WFM / CX software.
What do you dislike about the product?
We did have some hiccups with the account rep and training wasn't great at first which was needed because the sales reps at that company were very technically challenged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo delivers in providing pretty comprehensive contact data. It reduced research time and made it a lot easier to build our Salesforce database with comprehensive contact info.

Compare to Discover.org - I've heard good things about them too.
Good starting point
What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is a good starting point for getting email addresses and building out contacts for campaigns
What do you dislike about the product?
Accuracy is often an issue but you will normally at least get the email format for a company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
building out prospect lists for our bdrs to target
Too hard to get correct feedback if you are not in America

Was good when I started 5 years ago but too many changes to their rules they shift the goal posts too often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Do not get back to you quickly to resolve issues, and never ring back if outside America. Think they are fine if you live in the USA.

Looking up contacts for new business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would look to others, as loyalty is not a known word at Zoominfo, service is another word they do not recognise. Customar satisfaction is anothet they do not know.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm not sure where to start. I have only been using Discover.org for a few weeks and am already blown away by the level of detail available around companies, their financials, key decision makers, and technologies in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't say that I dislike anything. I'm still learning how to use the tool to its full extent and am confident I'll find more beneficial features as time goes on

I am able to pull much more targeted lists to ensure my team is reaching the right audience with its messaging
