Easy way to associate contacts with accounts
What do you like best about the product?
I like that when a contact is in the Org Chart, it's super easy to import into the account on SFDC
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of times the Org Charts are not updated. The company revenues are frequently incorrect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us decide which tier an account is (mid market, enterprise, etc). it also helps us import contacts to build out accounts
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it to build out accounts with contacts and other important information (HQ, phone, etc).

What do you like best about the product?
I can search by keywords, create lists, upload to my CRM, get updates on Scoops (formerly Triggers) all with a minimum of effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not really a fault of the system but it's easy to get locked out of content - it just means you have to purchase the "right" to the content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need leads. I need to create email lists for invites, mailers, etc. I also need to be aware of changes taking place at the target accounts I have. DiscoverOrg does this beautifully and unobtrusively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand your target markets and get the package you need (for example, if you don't talk to legal - no need to buy the legal contacts for a company)

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is by far the best contact tool that I've used. I've found the accuracy to be very consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the contacts do not have email addresses listed. Another area that can be improved is access to all companies. I've found that not all organizations are listed and some are locked. I've found no rhyme or reason as to which companies are locked and which are not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving prospecting problems with DIscoverOrg. Before we had to rely on on platforms that were not reliable and then attempt to decipher a prospects email address which was time consuming. The benefits we've realized are increasing our prospecting productivity.

Make sure you tell your rep the companies / industries you're targeting before you purchase.

I dislike the way the dashboard is set up.

What do you like best about the product?
Contacts are readily available. The accuracy of phone numbers and email addresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of times companies won't be listed, or contacts that have not yet been updated into discoverorg. Not an easy way to migrate contacts to Salesforce and other CRMs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The accessibility to reach my leads using it as a tool is that best benefit I have seen so far.
SaaS using DiscoverOrg
What do you like best about the product?
The access to emails and phone numbers of key c-level contacts. This tool has more accurate contact info than any i've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many missing contacts. Using tools like navigator I can do a boolean search and find exact persona's I want. This is a bit harder with disco.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contacts form key decision makers. Semi relative org charts.
Small database with inaccurate information
What do you like best about the product?
Direct dials, when they're correct, as well as the support's response when you click that there is an issue with a lead/contact info (although they weren't always able to find the right one)
What do you dislike about the product?
Still missing a lot of organizations (i.e. smaller midmarket companies, nonprofits, federal organizations) especially organizations outside of the United States. Frequently information is wrong and/or outdated

Not many, some enterprise accounts have halfway decent information. Honestly I've basically just realized that there so many better prospecting tools out there.

Don't use DiscoverOrg, Prospector is so much better

Integration with Salesforce, it works great while also giving the capabilites of syning with outreach. Great product overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of emails with accounts. Sometimes the accounts dont have all the info such as emails or correct and up to date phone numbers.

Extraction of whole data sets to excel, Saving selected criteria and getting revised results as on date of extraction

Opp Alerts & Scoops are not relevant, the team is not helpful once the licenses are sold.

What do you like best about the product?
I am very impressed with how accurate the data is. It has really helped me get a handle on my new territory and the key contacts while getting acquainted with my new role.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not come across anything I dislike accept today for the first time the site is down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to more easily establish the correct contacts within my target accounts and this has benefited me in accelerating my new role in a new sales territory.
