Strong potential, not delivered
What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg has companies that are a bit outside who we would typically think to target, so it inspires reps to get more creative. Company info is typically accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the info about employees is locked. This is probably a result of the plan, but it is hard to get value when we have to combine what we find here with other tools we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Consider what plan you get and whether you want a tool that does everything or you will have to use it in combination with other tools like Zoom.
Tellwise is a great solution to our marketing campaigns.
What do you like best about the product?
Tellwise best features are easy to use, Email tracking features such as hot prospects, email activity tracking, activity reporting also the mass mailing ability to schedule ahead of time save time and efforts. Customizing a template and sharing it with other users is not convoluted and requires very little effort. Another feature is the instant message when recipient opens an e-mail, or clicks on the link. In addition Tellwise has a great customer service and support who always are eager to provide training, help with any questions or concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Template could offer more features. We have an issue with being limited to messaging only 2000 recipients a day by Gmail. If Tellwise could implement a mass mailing not connected to the gmail would be a really great solution to small businesses like ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drive attendance to events, high volume of e-mails, newsletters and other marketing activities. The benefits we have seen are higher attendance, but most importantly communication activity features and reporting have been critical to marketing and sales initiatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tellwise is a great mass mailing and marketing solution, so easy to use, most importantly it offers many on time analytical reports and e-mail tracking functionalities. Customer service is outstanding, whenever I have a questions and ask for support, Billy and the rest of Tellwise team are always ready to help understand and provide guidance on how to use many of the functionalities that can be used to your advantage.

Accuracy of phone numbers, which is key to our prospecting capabilities.

Email accuracy is not the best, which is why we've still kept a tool to support this in addition to Zoominfo

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Discover Org is the ease of finding data as well as the convenience of uploading the prospects and accounts into Outreach or Salesforce. Another great feature is the promptness of replies from their research team. If you report an error they typically reply within a couple days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of main numbers would be what I dislike most. There are plenty direct dials... but there are many main numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding prospects and business contact information. I also use for opp alerts and trends. Similar companies helps you target competitors as well.

DiscoverOrg allows for an easy way to gain access to many people who I would normally have trouble getting in contact with, they also have an area called scoops which helps me understand more about what's going on within my accounts.The allow for plug-ins with other applications that help so much!

The main dislike is that sometimes there are incorrect titles or numbers/emails

DiscoverOrg is allowing me to gain information on accounts I originally wouldn't have

Great account data, insights into business, and very clean data

Make sure that your prospects are covered in one of their data sets. Additional data sets can be quite expensive if your target prospects span across multiple orgs in a company.
Great product if you're targeting large market and enterprise

Contact info is regularly updated, and they have a great set of features to filter companies by tech stack/industry/size/etc.
Additionally, they have a research team that will fulfil certain kinds of request to expedite the uncovering of lead information.

It does not have great information for smaller companies (500 and below), which is not a huge surprise.

Plugs into Marketo to update database
What do you like best about the product?
We use it to plug into Marketo and keep our database up to date with the latest content information for prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have two logins and it’s always kicking me out of my login for using too many browsers. A very small thing I know but annoying!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of keeping out marketing database up to date. Our sales people are horrible at updating contact information so this helps.
