What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things to like about DiscoverOrg. I love how narrow you can get with your results. It also shows complete org charts so you can see who reports to who. The data isn't perfect, but it's probably more reliable than any other tool I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as phone numbers, titles, emails, etc. - that is all pretty accurate. However, we sent out a number of letters and got a significant amount of "return-to-senders." That was kind of weird to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am on an outbound sales team so prospecting into new companies and speaking with new people is everything. Being able to download a report in seconds is a game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DiscoverOrg allows you to purchase different packages in terms of title/department/role. For our organization, we went with the finance package. This gives us access to people at organizations with the finance, controller, CFO, accounting, etc. titles. If you are looking for all titles, it could get pricy. Since we're very niche on one particular vertical, it makes a lot of sense to focus on one package.

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the data. The contact info along with the data relating to company size is very helpful when it comes to booking quality customer meetings that lead to closed deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer the user interface on DiscoverOrg that allows you to open a company page in a separate tab. Would be great if you could add that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More meetings set and more revenue closed.

What do you like best about the product?
DO covers the gambit within the database. The breadth of contacts available is impressive and accurate to boot. Scoops and the search/ update capabilities helps me and my team stay on top of potential deal flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
the toughest part w/ DO is how the tiers of info are add-on/ priced. it's an expensive service, but you do get what you pay for. I'd like to see better/ simpler pricing, not constant add ons or up ticks in cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to have a 360 degree view in many prospects and even exisiting clients. We have acquired a number of firms, and using DO has helped us clean the master contact database when we merge CRM systems. It's also given us a better, more targeted campaign source, as the contact info is highly accurate

take full advantage of the support and roll out team; they have been immensely helpful in realizing our goals.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DIscoverOrg helps me primarily with two tasks: Account Segmentation and Prospect Segmentation. As an Account Development Rep, I have to figure out the right companies to target and the right prospects to reach out to. DiscoverOrg allows me to filter my target accounts to criteria I specify especially in conjunction with any campaign my team would be running on any particular day. I can then look at the Org Chart to find the decision makers in each account. This allows me to send relevant messaging based on company composition and on the personal level for each individual prospect.

For the contacts that are in DiscoverOrg, its great! Org Charts, tech, emails, phone numbers -- the works.
What do you dislike about the product?
DiscoverOrg is consistently missing 20-25% of the employees at company. If you rely solely on its data, you'll likely be missing out on some key contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for understanding the structure of an organization and getting contact information for prospecting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DiscoverOrg is great, but you will likely need to continue using other channels like Linkedin identify all relevant prospects at a given company.
Great Tool- Very Accurate Data
What do you like best about the product?
Discover provides visibility to a ton of companies and the info available allows you to dive into the details of each business. The majority of the company and employee info is up to date and accurate including emails and phone numbers, which is huge!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have come across some companies that are relatively large in size that have very few contacts in the employee org chart. However, I realize this is all inout and verified by real people and so I am confident they will be updated when available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am reducing wasted prospecting time. I am able to clearly identify who I want to contact thought the org chart and validate that with the LInkedIn hyperlink directly in Discover. I don't waste time prospecting into irrelevant contacts with this tool and process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend discover org as a tool for any company who is prospecting for B2B sales. The info, org charts, employee contacts and other insight is a huge advantage to sales reps.
