My go-to for initial research
What do you like best about the product?
Organizational info summary provides everything I need to know at first glance, before starting to dig deep and learn more about the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would love to be able to copy email addresses with one click, or some other, easier way. I also wish that personal information was more up to date, there tend to be a lot of people who don't work for the organization anymore or have different titles/locations et cetera.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use DiscoverOrg to learn who works for the Organization I am targeting, where they work (location) and in what position/team.
Really love the "similar companies" tab, gives you an excellent summary for possible competitors.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Personnel info under each department (HR/Cilevel) is difficult to get, would love to be able to copy and paste it quicker and with one click.

What do you like best about the product?
Discover Org makes it easy to categorize different types of prospects. Their filtering makes it simpler to specify different campaigns across different industries, regions, and employees.I really enjoy the scoops. They help out a lot in terms of insight into what companies and employees are up to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has not been much that I have not liked with DiscoverOrg. I use it mainly to pull lists of employees and companies. I also use it to run reports on companies which also help in the prospecting process. I have not used other platforms like DiscoverOrg so this being my first one has set the bar pretty high if I were to ever use another platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are not much problems that I have been dealing with. The benefits I realized are twofold. The scoops are not only helpful in terms of insight into the company, but they are also up to date and relevant to the current time period. I would've expected that maybe some of the information may be off due to how personal some of the pain points may be, but they are very much accurate for the most part.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementing this with Salesforce helps out a lot. I don't do it personally, but I have seen people do it to make their lives easier when it comes to prospecting and uploading leads.

I like the ability to see a wide range of contacts, and fairly accurate information around title, contact info, etc.

Sometimes the data is inaccurate and can lead to awkward interactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my company, our CRM is relatively new. As a result it lacks a large amount of accounts, contacts, etc. I use DiscoverOrg advanced searches to not only identify new target accounts, but find multiple contacts within any given account.

Good source of ALOT of data, BUT always verify.

It's easy to track an account and all it's information down so I don't need to fish for contacts and addresses and phones like I used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes slow to get a response from support when I need clarification on why an account has been locked.

It's allowed me to prospect much much faster than I have using any other tool - But i also haven't used a lot of tools out there.

DiscoverOrg has made strides to helping organizations find and utilize relevant info. They do a great job of building the full picture of an organization using many different measures

Sometimes information is missing or out of date. User interface needs allot of work, Queries would work better in a GCP envirnment

What do you like best about the product?
I like that DiscoverOrg is a single location where I can go to find contacts in my market. Although the information can be outdated/inaccurate, when you notify them of the fix they are quick to correct the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an ability to better integrate with LinkedIn Contacts to assure that the current company is still relevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My work in Sales would be much more manual without DiscoverOrg and I wouldn't be able to reach as many individuals without the database or company insights. I utilize DiscoverOrg in addition to other activities to assure my quota attainment in sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've got many colleagues who don't have access to DiscoverOrg and they wish they had access. It adds huge value to my process and I wouldn't be able to touch nearly as many prospects without it.

What do you like best about the product?
Org Chart are a good way to understand the structure of contacts at an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have over 1000 accounts. Manually updating contacts for each one in Salesforce is painful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the correct contacts. It's better than outdated Salesforce information.

What do you like best about the product?
Like the title says, DiscoverOrg is extremely robust. You can search from a wide range of criteria all the way down to funding (and filter it even further by time), technologies used, industries, etc. I think what sets DiscoverOrg apart from their competitors is their "Scoops" section where you're able to set alerts (based on a customized criteria that you make) about certain things that happen with the prospect. Their integration with SFDC is amazingly helpful as well
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say training was a little lacking. I still find it semi-difficult to navigate the platform and understand the relationship between account lists, prospecting lists, scoops list, etc. Natively on discoverorg you're not able to click out directly to Salesforce (you can in the SFDC app, but the app doesn't have all the features/functionality of the native one). Ive been able to make DiscoverOrg work for me, but I feel I'm not using it to it's full capacity because of lack of onboarding/training/how robust it can be

I like the integration of being able to add contacts directly into Salesforce with the click of a button. It helps save so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how some individuals are grayed out due to "restrictions", who shouldn't be grayed out from the plan we have i.e. some c-suite level execs.

That not all data is perfect. DiscoverOrg has helped sift through archived data that our CRM has.
