DiscoverOrg is lacking the discover part
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the integrations with Salesforce. The Org chart is helpful, when you have a clear line of management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving from ZoomInfo to DiscoverOrg was awful. ZoomInfo has so much information that is accurate for huge companies and also small ones. The space I used to work with was 20 employees or less. I could not verify any information with this platform. LinkedIn has more reliable information for small companies. Then I moved to the Majors space, 3000 and up for employee size, and I still couldn’t find huge companies in DiscoverOrg. I was floored. As a sales person in a prospecting role, my intel is vital. When the intel is wrong, or missing, it makes my job ridiculously harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding decision makers within an org faster. Finding out the software companies use and if it’s a competitor to ours is a huge benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I’d suggest a full training deployment. I had to sign up for training webinars on my own and it was straining on me to learn.
Excellent account management
What do you like best about the product?
Jonathan Singh is our Account Manager there. and he has been providing outstanding service. He has informed me on how we can get immense value from our platform to make us more effective and our team more informed. Its a platform filled with features and functionalities that I would highly recommend any sales team to try.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have lots of features and functionalities is a double edged sword. Especially for legacy accounts like ours. Sometimes its hard to stay tuned on what was released etc. That's why it is important to have someone like Jonathan in your corner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our addressable market is very focused and the nature of problems we solve for our clients is vast. Sometimes collecting contacts from other sources has proven challenging. With DiscoverOrg not only do we get solid contacts (vetted contacts lets not forget) but also account information along with general news. Its really a more focused LinkedIn with better service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommed DiscoverOrg. I have used other products like Hoover in the past and this is by far a better application. There post sales service is excellent and are always training our people and getting more buy-in. I am happy to get on a call with anyone who is considering the application.

Wish it wasnt just for professionals but every industry.

I work a lot off IN and if there isnt a number listed I can easily find it on Zoom.

DiscoverOrg is the best tool out there for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
It is accurate information when I need it. It also gives you the insights you need t turn a cold conversation into a warm one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing but it is worth it. It is a very big price point to start compared to other tools out there, but the accuracy of data trumps the price.

The cold call problem. Trying to get in front of people that might not have any insights or need for what we have or may not even be the right person. Now you know

What do you like best about the product?
Best way to populate Salesforce with contacts that we've found yet.

Not to much to dislike other than the fact that with our license I can't see company data for those companies not primarily located in my state.

DiscoverOrg helps us find contacts in order to get past gatekeepers. You can do in minutes what might take days with DiscoverOrg.

Deep, accurate data and lots of interesting insights
What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg has a vast amount of contacts in the database and integrates well with Salesforce. I get value from how the contacts are displayed according to the department/position within the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be cumbersome to navigate at times. We subscribe to the marketing lists, but some of the prospects we target are listed under IT (there's a blurring of the lines between marketing/tech), so I can not get access to those prospects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg has given me access to prospects not in other databases we subscribe to. It also integrates well with Salesforce, which saves me time in admin tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is true before contracting with any database. Know your target audience and make sure the list provider is strong within it. The various databases I have used seem to be stronger/weaker in certain industries and titles.

Accurate email addresses and direct dials are a God send

ListMatch was quite hard to get the hang of however discoverorg support were excellent and took us through everything and we're using it with no problems at all

Compared with the same quarter last year (before we had Discoverorg), we have tripled the amount of demos we have booked
Helpful, concise, accessible
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Chrome plug-in - this makes my life so much easier when I'm on a clients site and want to delve in more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't understand where the data comes from. I sometimes check LinkedIn after using ZoomInfo to see if they have more contact details. ZoomInfo has better info, but sometimes has way less employees listed to a company. It's also difficult to search company names at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am getting client details in a timely fashion. With one site/one plug-in I'm able to save searches and am comfortable with the website.
