ZoomInfo Gives Me A Prospecting Edge

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can cut through some of the gatekeepers and find decision makers. The interface is easy to use and puts all the necessary filters front and center...no hunting around just to get your 1.5 million results scaled down. I like that I am always fairly confident that I can find at least one person from the company I am prospecting on ZoomInfo. The ReachOut integration is a nice touch when I am browsing LinkedIn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could change some of the default settings (ie make my home market the default search market). This may very well be possible, but it might be helpful to have it as a highly visible feature during the first few uses). Occasionally there will be no contact information or severely outdated contact info. Not ZoomInfo's fault, necessarily, but still a little irksome when it happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the aforementioned issue of needing to navigate around gatekeepers. I don't think that I have any specific sales just because of ZoomInfo (I still have to know what to say once I reach the decision makers!) but I am certainly more confident that I have the right person when I call. It is nice to be able to search by job type and find a lot of the same roles to reach out to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give them a call and see if you can get a seven day trial. I used it and was blown away by how much information I was able to glean on new prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy ability to find emails and names/titles as well as locations (based on territory we cover). Very easy to tag and group possible leads
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit busy on the screen at any given time (a lot going on), which can sometimes be overwhelming but overall is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of building up an effective sales pipeline. Also creating heirarchy for potential of leads

Great to take a test drive with it and reach out to a sales rep for guidance.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can quickly and easily look up various information on companies that have interacted with our ads and have been on the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I come across a lot of foreign companies that are not within discover org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discover org saves us a lot of time when doing research on leads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for B2B lead research. Great support and consultants reach out to ensure that features of the software are being utilized at full potential.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to look into companies and see what tools they are currently using, where they are spending their money and whether they are a good fit for your product while seeing who the decision makers are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transferring and getting reports from DiscoverOrg to other tools can be cumbersome if there is not a direct integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes life easier, to see which clients you can serve better and whether you are a potential good partnership together from what they are using and what their budget is.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is really simple to use and the layout is perfect. Its set up in a very easy to use format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cant really say I have a dislike about it. if anything just because I do better with darker screens, possibly a dark mode or something of the sort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a real important tool to find information on current customers and potential clients. You can find vital contact information as well as information about your customers all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to use the product, there are obviously "how to's" but get your hands dirty. Double check your the info you have for your customers against zoominfo's.

Best Prospecting Tool I've Used in 17 years of sales!

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about ZoomInfo are the detailed filters for not only company searches, but contact searches as well. Competitors products leave a lot to be desired when it comes to searching for contacts. I support a territory with over 100,000 customer and prospects, Zoom makes it very easy to zero in on the prospects I want to focus on. Hi have found the records in Zoom to be far more accurate to other data sources I have access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to ZoomInfo is that it isn't supported in IE, which is the preferred browser for the company that I work for. It isn't a huge deal, it is just a little inconvenient when you have to have multiple browsers open. I have also noticed for certain verticals like medical, the results are limited. While medical practices may be small, they present a tremendous amount of opportunity for most technology companies in terms of software and services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has given me the ability to drill down into a very large sales territory and find the top 10% of prospects very easily. It is saving me time and effort on a daily basis and my hope is that once we get SalesForce.com it will integrate with that product and make things even more efficient!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom is the easiest and most detailed prospecting tool I have ever used. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Massive database with tons of information. They improved their UI recently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always the most accurate, but seems to be the most accurate out there.

I need to get in touch with high level prospects.

Decent Info, But Outdated Contacts & Company Size Often Incorrect

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ability to create saved searches for companies and contacts I would target for my accounts and territory. Also, I liked seeing hierarchy of who reports to who, and getting phone and email (when it would be available and correct). If I found that there was incorrect info (such as contact no longer at company), it was relatively easy to submit that to the DiscoverOrg team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constantly would have incorrect info on company size (my employer only purchased 1K+ employees), and contacts would not be available to view...even when LinkedIn would show 1K+ employees. There was no method to contact DiscoverOrg to make a fix on the incorrect company size, at least that I could see. Also, I found a LOT of contacts that were no longer employed at target accounts/companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped speed up my time to map accounts and determine contacts to target. By getting info faster, I was able to meet sales goals quicker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This was a good tool for a smaller company's sales team. Unsure if it would meet mid-market or enterprise companies, as info was not always correct inside DiscoverOrg.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of finding contact information for all sorts of people within my target accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ability to find new contacts within those accounts, the search function does not work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our database is not robust enough, I’ve been able to build up my accounts with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it shows map, locations, responsibilities and LNKD profile. It also shows potential interests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The information is not always accurate, but it has a variety so at least 2 of the items are usually correct. This is used best as reference in conjunction with other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
identifying targets and learning what they care about

Great tool. It is best when used as reference in conjunction with other tools. If you're limited on budget, I would use that in conjunction with free resources like LinkedIn for better alignment and to help prioritize time.
